It's really sad to see what Denver & by extension Colorado has become as a result of drug legalization. I voted for it, along with millions of others. I think we were sold a bag of false goods, saying it would improve the schools and infrastructure. Expecting adults to behave as adults. I was wrong. It opened the door for crime, low-life behavior, & an overall degenerate culture of half-baked, uninspired, addicted people. Always wanting more and abusing the system that allowed the behavior in the first place.

Last night I was on @NEWSMAX with @gregkellyusa discussing a case that the US Supreme Court will take up regarding the state of Colorado requiring private Catholic schools to teach LGBTIQA+ curriculum under the guise of anti-discrimination. Simply put, this is the state forcing you to practice its religion. I will fight to protect your right to believe and worship how you want and educate your children how you see fit, free from government interference.

I want the people of HD33 to be heard and I will be the voice for them and their actual concerns. So much of that gets ignored when our local government starts getting into their pet projects, biased and ridiculous surveys and overnight, closed door decision making and voting.

It gets said all the time but it's a fundamental belief that the government, no matter at what level, should be FOR the people. Not mandating to the people whatever trendy bs agenda that they'd like to push through to get their accolades and precious rainbow trophies. Enough.

Part of the issue in Colorado is that the local elections and local government is basically a feeder on up the chain. It's wild to see the "bi-partisan" city council be unanimous on almost every measure in Broomfield across the board with little or no dissent or objection.
