@TWFootball1867 @OFR1992 @Turk_S8 You're conflating "people" and "x accounts" as if they are the same thing. X accounts are often bots and accounts run for specific reasons. There is basically no way to determine the difference. The only meaningful data point is the attention shows they are doing something right

The comments made about another one of our young players over the last 24 hours is again not good to see - putting it mildly. 20 years old. A full international. 16 senior goals at 20 years old. 8 goals in half a season in the league we are going to. A host of championship clubs monitoring him. Past PL interest. New bid from an SPL team. Verdict from Owls twitter - not good enough. I don't care how many people unfollow me or don't like what I'm about to say, but this is (part) of the reason why young players never reach their potential at this club and leave. And part of the reason why we do not have the success other clubs have who have a salubrious environment for young players to play. Players read these tweets and are very aware of what is being said. Cadz has such a high ceiling. His physical attributes demand he play at L1 for his entire career at a very minimum. A little refining of his technical ability, movement and game understanding will determine where he lads. He could go right the way to the top and be a PL striker if he gets it right. However, that becomes more and more unlikely when a 20 year old is reading comments online that our fans will drive him to Scotland for what is an undervalue bid. It knocks their confidence. And honestly, it makes me think we deserve our current situation of this is how we treat our young players.

@Jamesy_boy @SouthStandPies I think we can be confident that's exactly what it is. He allegedly tried to bribe the Mayor last week to make his HMRC tax bill go away...

Late last year, Chansiri actioned a small amount of work on Leppings Lane. He found a ‘great deal’ at £425k from a company from Bangkok. He paid, but turned out it was just a deposit for work that was quoted. Work never got done, but club lost the £425k. #swfc

@TWFootball1867 Do you think it helps the players if the fans boycott, so it's quieter and they can communicate better on the pitch and hear Pederson shouting instructions?

A completely avoidable goal. Had a defender playing offside when there are 2 deeper defenders. Don't know why the striker was not followed in the channel

The official attendance at Hillsborough was only 7801 last night, including a full away end. This was the extent of the home support as many Sheffield Wednesday fans boycotted the game against Leeds United in protest against owner Dejphon Chansiri #SWFC

@TWFootball1867 What do you suggest? Given we went on to hit the post, take the lead, and go in 1-0 at the break, can't really say it affected the players tbh. But it did draw attention of the TV broadcast.

Fans going down, spending 100s, and not getting in till near half time when we've played class. Missing the goal. It was a touching moment with Leicester fans clapping. But we get 2 early corners and no response from an empty away end. No, sorry, it's wrong for the team

Signing off for today. Last thing I'll say. Massive respect to all fans. But going forward, is it really the best idea to protest during the 90? We started really well and it would have been nice to have the fans behind them. Think the players deserve support from 0-90mins

Can’t understand how football is supposed to be played if ANYONE can’t slide for a 50/50 like that. Baz won the ball. One footed. So, the rules are such then that players should just not bother trying to get to the ball first?

@YesWeCrann Dej will refuse fair offers and sell for 10% of that when wages are due. Like Gass. Cos he's a "businessman". Not a completely clueless lunatic masochist. Obvs.

After today, I’ll be stunned if there’s not a few clubs trying to test #SWFC’s resolve when it comes to Pierce Charles before this window ends… The kid has such incredible potential. His ceiling is so high.

@TWFootball1867 @YesWeCrann If that's a yellow card... I'd start coaching players to go into 50:50 challenges not trying to win the ball. Just put your leg somewhere behind the ball so when the opponent wins it they will make contact on the follow through. Then roll around on the floor like a baby.

Honestly, and maybe I’m being biased, but that looked like a good old-fashioned 50/50. Both went in for it, Bannan got there slightly quicker, caught a bit of the man after. Harsh, for me. #SWFC

@YesWeCrann Whilst fans mess about arguing with each other about whether or not to protest at matches, the prospect of there even being matches to protest at diminished by the hour. RIP SWFC 1867-2025.

Like others, hearing that #SWFC players have had a strong indication that they won’t be paid on time tomorrow. Not sure if it will be the same for staff. Potential strike action on the cards, it’s all one momentous mess.

@TWFootball1867 @1867News If he decides he wants to stay, it will be to spend the entire rest of his contract on gardening leave, wasting his career. Reality is, worst case is 1-2 months into the season a club will be desperate and take him.

@glynhudson Appreciate the answer and insight! I can see how the good deal would help... I'd prefer the Newark, but justifying the cost/payback over the OSO is difficult...

@Neil_JD The larger coil will give higher COP heatpump efficiency, I'm not too concerned about reheat time, I got a good deal on the Newark which helped sway my decision

Big milestone on my ASHP installation this weekend, oil boiler has been decommissioned, and new cylinder has been installed! Currently running off immersion, but even with a COP of 1 this is a 65% Co2 reduction 🥳

Per sources, understand there has been another delay in payment of wages at Sheffield Wednesday this month. Follows a similar issue in March. Payment was eventually made in April. #SWFC

7 minutes into the second half, Diaz deliberately rolls to push his studs into Gass. He's on a yellow card already. This is a nailed-on yellow card. In a Sheffield Derby. Right in front of our dug-out. Charles is the only one who walks towards the incident - but it has no urgency. Why aren't we: a) running to Gass to check he's ok. b) appealing for a foul c) why aren't Danny and the bench stepping forward d) why is no one around the ref this did not even get given as a foul. Imagine this happening at Leeds, or any big PL club. Klopp at Liverpool.
TW Football@TWFootball1867

This is the clip in question Sunday. Pol is fouled on 54 minutes in what i think is a borderline yellow. I think we should be around the ref here and running over to Pol to put the pressure on it. Playing on a yellow changes games. It is clearly a borderline yellow as Gass gets booked for the same type of foul. It should just be a reaction. When you hear the ref blow for a foul sprint to the player and ref and play on it. Put pressure on, get the crowd going. As, let's be honest, aside from big games it can be a bit flat at Hillsborough. Jose won PLs on this stuff. It works
