All of France’s games have been in New York, Boston or Philadelphia. Including tonight, all of Belgium’s games have been in Seattle, Vancouver & LA.
It doesn’t make sense why some teams are kept in pockets of the continent, whilst others travel far and wide.

France are a great team, but they’ve had a huge geographical advantage over other countries too. They’re based in Boston and all of their 6 games have been in the north-east USA. They’ve therefore only racked up 1,695 travel miles. After our QF, England’s will be 12,127 miles 😳

@robstaton Genuinely amazing, Rob. There have been some great side stories this World Cup and England seem to be at the centre of so many, but the unlikely friendship born at full time in the Mexico game isn’t something anyone saw coming, and it’s genuinely my favourite so far.

What’s happened since Sunday night has been mad.

It was absolutely critical that every ticket was sold because the club needed *every penny* to survive. I also knew what eyes were on that game and ensuring it was full to the max was very important. That also wasn’t just my opinion. The tweet from David simply highlights how vital that game was.

At our first game at Hillsborough, Nov 5, ‘25 @michaelestorch and I witnessed @bazzabannan25 nail a 35 yard bullet from left of center, Norwich goalie had zero chance to save. Bulls eye… @swfc 1- Norwich nil.
Getting @bazzabannan25 back feels soooo good! With the quality squad Simon Wilson and David Bruce are putting together and all the other cool stuff… @michaelestorch, Tom Costin, DB and I are committed to bring the excitement and fun back to @swfc.
