@fringetracker @Iridescent I've not had anyone duck out of a lecture of mine, but if they did, I'd shrug and carry on. It's nowhere near as distracting as some of the things done in student drama (ah, the Engo Revue!), it's no business of mine why they leave, and the rest of the crowd deserve the full show

@Iridescent the level of reaction to this is melting my brain. I have had to leave lectures and come back in a number of times for various reasons, but would also try to avoid it. students have come and gone from mine and I sometimes am a bit taken aback, but also wouldn't be a dick about it

This is actually a reasonable position? Like class is an hour, either turn up for an hour or just skip it, but walking out halfway through is rude and will disrupt other people?
