@LancsCCMG It’s not great, but it was always going happen. You can’t keep spending £250K a year on the digital product (best on the county circuit btw) without some kind of revenue generation. Think £20 might be a little steep, but let’s see if the product/offering improves.

Ridiculously short sighted by Lancs. The free YouTube channel is their shop window. It’s a massive opportunity to draw in casual fans so that they get excited enough to come along in person (and maybe even become a member and bring other people). What’s happened to the public awareness of cricket in this country since it went behind a paywall in 2005? Are Lancs still a cricket club or are they just another sport-based business that’s out to fleece their fans?

@Nipper100 It seemed massively over capacity to me. You couldn’t walk through the inside area really and a lot of people had spilled out into the hallway and were sat on the stairs throughout the day. I pretty much gave up getting a drink after the first one.

Aintree done and dusted. After going 2 years on the bounce, may well swerve it next year. Far too busy in the stand we were in, superb view mind, but facilities were jam packed. Seems like profit over customers, lots of unhappy punters where we were. Expected more for £193 each.
