The Minister said: “I have set an ambitious target to double tourism expenditure from overnight visitors to £2bn by 2035. America is a key market for us in meeting this target. "The relationship between Ireland and the United States has deep historical roots and today, North America is Ireland’s largest value visitor market. "We work hard to ensure that we can offer visitors a great experience, and thanks to our travel trade and media partners, we’ve seen year-on-year growth in US visitor numbers. I want to ensure we continue that trend.”
