I’ve started replying to these spam texts I’m getting with people asking to buy random lots I don’t own and calling me “Tom” or some other name. It’s been a fun pastime of mine lately.

Fraudster who stole $2.6 million in a Medicaid scheme pleaded guilty in Minnesota. This is what they did: - They would recruit Somalian Americans taking them to fake doctor's appointments - Each one of these individuals would have to be taken on the non-emergency transportation vehicles - They would then need interpreters because the Somalian Americans couldn't speak English - So the Somalian Americans needed a Somalian interpreter billing interpreters over $100 an hour - They would sign these people up to go in the non-emergency transportation vehicles and go to doctor's appointments. The crazy thing is American doctors are part of this scheme. Chiropractors, psychologists, and acupuncturists all were part of this fraud scheme. Billing Medicaid, millions and millions of dollars for fake doctor's appointments, fake transportation to the doctor's appointments and fake Somalian interpreters” @Brookerteejones “All of this was a fraud, and they scammed Medicaid out of millions and millions of dollars. Thankfully, the fraudster who was organizing all this has been caught, and this person has agreed to turn in all the people that were part of this fraud scheme. This is just one thing going on in Minnesota where a lot of fraud has taken place. Let me know your thoughts on this one.” The main organizer was named Nasro Aden Takhal. The total amount stolen in this scheme was $2.6 million.
