@RANGER0014X Not yet. Tough to tie in age, with the exception of in a general way, to the ordering. But we've seen that once people use the app about 25% of people come back and order 2 or 3 more times. Which is encouraging.

Let me ask you question. Saturday night, crowded bar of 300 people. 8 bartenders on and you're in the middle of the dance floor. Wouldn't it be lovely to not have to fight the crowd and then also fight for the bartenders attention to get a drink?

@varunv_malhotra @chamath Of course. I now have 6 places, 3 with leverage and 3 with none. Balance and calculated risks are everything.

Levels of leverage, buying a restaurant where you have done the math, understand cash flows and let it pay for itself is a risk but still lower risk than how leverage can be used especially in more liquid markets. But I’ve seen people do 1 store it works and then go straight to 10 and it’s a mess

This is so true. In 2020-2022, I tried leverage. It almost broke me. I will tell the full story soon but, in my experience, liquor and ladies are pedestrian compared to leverage.

@varunv_malhotra @chamath Especially when things are going well. I've done a couple restaurants (talk about risky) with leverage but calculated. Sales would have had to drop 80% before I could default. The temptation is always out there to do something you shouldn't though.

@Pat_Light @chamath I think that’s totally reasonable, it’s not inherently evil but it can be tempting to use more and more recklessly over time

@varunv_malhotra @chamath Leverage has helped me grow quite a bit but it's like the devil on your shoulder just telling you to lever more and more because nothing bad will happen. Staying prudent can be tricky but if you can do it, it's a fabulous way to expand.

The biggest issue with leverage compared to the other two is that leverage can make you feel like a genius most of the time. Then you have this cognitive bias that your more intelligent than you are so you use more and more leverage keep getting wins until the tail risk hits and you get blown up.

The average Golf Outing sign is $150. Our sign is $1,500. Average Golf Outing attendance is 100 people. Our event 100,000 people. 10x the price for 1000x the exposure. Solid numbers.
