I am unemployed, and have had a thus far unsuccessful job search, BUT:
Many have this insane model of education wherein the completion of some program inherently confers to you some employable characteristics.
Incorrect. You have to work tirelessly, independently to make yourself useful to others. You also bear the responsibility for pursuing degrees without any reasonable vision of where the median graduate may expect to place.
Perhaps this is rude, but itโs true, and to some degree itโs something I have to hesitantly remind myself.

@OMEGAZULA @LRNROSE I don't use TikTok lol all of my friends understand that we're all adults with full-time jobs, significant others, and in some of their cases, children. It ultimately comes down to finding friends that can match your energy instead of starting a "who's busier" competition

@weirdbeingg I think anyone who can't figure out how to save $1.15 per week (if they save for a full year, it's $5/week if they only save for 12 weeks) has bigger issues than whether or not they're able to buy a video game

Obviously valid to not be able to afford it but why are people acting like people saving up 60 dollars in a year for tomodachi life is completely ridiculous I think that's actually pretty possible for a lot of people

Our mortgage payment (including taxes/insurance) is $1,570.
Our utilities (water/electric/gas) were only $282 *total* this month.
No car payments.
Can't reiterate enough how crucial keeping expenses low are for building a $1,000,000+ net worth.
