@joshuastenhouse Nice! And it's freaking free, open source, and cross platform. I'm still amazed that we pulled PowerShell off ... at Microsoft!

PowerShell is freaking awesome! I remember the early 2000s when MSFT had some security nightmare and an execs sent email telling us to reach out to everyone we knew and walk them through a 5 page fixit process. I kept thinking, why isn't there a cut-n-paste cmd to fix this?

🚨 Active Directory admins, read this post and check in PowerShell with: Get-ADObject -Filter "msDS-supportedEncryptionTypes -bor 0x7 -and -not msDS-supportedEncryptionTypes -bor 0x18"

@PeterZeihan Throws a spear. Bounces off. "Let's be friends while I learn how to sharpen a spear - OK?"

If you reach for your dreams and hold on to them for even a short while... it is SUCH an awesome feeling. But I appreciate the humility it gave me to after awaking from the Dream :)

So yes, I am one of the 10,000 and I shall never complain. I got the chance where many didn't to live my Dream job and work alongside some of the most brilliant people ever. New friends too! I walked the Long Road to Redmond. Still smiling back :) #PowerShell #Microsoft

@davidfowl @joaosilvestr I remember getting some fun technical questions when I had my PFE interviews before I joined. It was not so much as “Do you know?” But “If you don’t, think it through, what could you do?” Loved those!

@joaosilvestr I think those sorts of questions are OK if the interviewer isn't looking for a specific answer. It might be a "how would you design X from first principles" sorta thing. The question could be more relevant to the job though 😅

I guess I understand that some places ask interview questions like these reddit.com/r/dotnet/comme… but it’s so foreign to me because we rarely look for this specific type of knowledge in interviews at Microsoft (unless it was on your resume).
