What we learned in IBD care in 2025 🧵 2025 was a year of real progress in Crohn’s & Colitis care. Mission accomplished — Day 1 of the AIG IUS Preceptorship in IBD (Foundation Course)! @AIGHospitals A great start indeed. Congratulations to @DrRupaBanerjee1 for her vision and leadership — we were just discussing the idea back in April, and within half a year, you’ve made it happen. Kudos! The event was officiated by Dr. Nageswar Reddy, who still remembers that I visited AIG at the old town more than 10 years ago for attachment. Yes, indeed — I had the privilege of seeing every procedure clearly… thanks to my height! 😆 So proud to be part of this esteemed faculty alongside Dr. Bincy Abraham @IBD_Houston, Dr. Suryaveer Singh, Dr. Kayal Vizhi N, Dr. Partha Pal @ibd_pal, Dr. Sonam Shah, Dr. Harshini Reddy, and Dr. Rajendra Patel. It’s also wonderful that one of our own specialists from Malaysia, Dr. CJ Ling was selected to join this program — truly an honour! This foundation course marks an important milestone — paving the way for a new era of IUS training in India, and likely beyond, for emerging IBD nations.
