@tom_worthington @CDRG_USYD Great example Tom, thanks. Our approach is to move away from tutors being the source of humor and enlist the inherent humour of students. This helps somewhat with cultural nuances.

@CDRG_USYD @ProfVMitchell Humor with international students is problematic. When I was a student in Canada, one team were labelled by the tutor "Loonies". I thought using slang for people suffering mental illness to be in very poor taste. Later I found it was a Canadian coin.
