I have said it repeatedly: Atiku Abubakar is my candidate. However, if the coalition decides to choose another person, I will still support and campaign for that person WHOLEHEARTEDLY, because my ultimate goal is to remove Bola Tinubu from office because he gave us the most incompetent governor in Nigeria history. If your objective is not to unseat Tinubu, then you have no business being part of the coalition. Instead of joining and working against its success, it would be more honest to align with the APC. Attempting to divide the coalition’s votes is indirectly working for Tinubu, PERIOD. Atiku is not a saint, just like none of these politicians are. However, he remains one of the most experienced, competent, and prepared person for the job. He stands out as the only candidate with well-structured and workable policy documents, his manifesto. I became convinced of his vision the day in (2019), he openly declared his commitment to restructuring Nigeria, even knowing it might cost him support from his own people. That level of conviction speaks volumes. Going forward, I urge all coalition members to stop focusing on those who have chosen to leave. Supporters of Atiku and Rotimi Amaechi should concentrate on promoting their candidates instead of dwelling on past disagreements. We will not be distracted. We will not be intimidated or discouraged into believing that the coalition ADC, cannot form the next government. It will. Let it also be clear: do not bring campaigns for aspirants who are no longer part of the coalition to my wall. As I have said, I will no longer engage in discussions about those who have exited. This is not personal. This is about Nigeria’s future. Peter Obi represents something genuinely new: competence, frugality, youth inclusion, and a break from recycled elite politics. His movement cuts across tribe, religion, and class. Pairing him with Kwankwaso’s northern grassroots strength creates a formidable North-South alliance that no single party can match. This could have been the rallying point in ADC, but we missed this playing politics as usual. To every opposition leader reading this: the masses are tired of elite games. The PDP’s visible cracks are a warning. The ADC’s current drift is another. Greed and arrogance today will produce regret tomorrow. The lesson 🙏
