Like all art at this point, it is becoming extremely inaccessible for the young audience, both in terms of what’s being made and how expensive it is. No Cool Math Games, no Club Penguin, no Spyro, no Crash, etc. only Nintendo is still focused on younger audiences.

@LavenderGhast I agree with the assessment. However, these kids are screwed. They only get to keep the bonuses if they stay for 5 years. A new admin is going to cut a lot. What money they will have will go to criminal and civil lawsuits. Also, becoming a pariah for betraying the people.

People straight out of collage who know the job market has basically abandoned them for cheap labour is joining the one organization still offering them viable, fast track careers and motivation to remove those who even people in government openly, gleefully say they want replacing them in the job market. It's a real mystery why so many young people sign up when elected officials say "who is going to do (so and so) jobs" they never say "our youth" because they've abandoned them.
Why is this always the playbook. Absolutely strangle young peoples opportunities, tell them they have no future, they have an entire planet and AI to contend with in local job markets and you do not care what happens to them as long as you get cheaper roofers. Don't even attempt offering them any viable solution to struggles you caused them and then when your enemy is the only one offering them one, you go "Heh, always knew the youth were fascists in waiting"

The Senate just passed funding for most of DHS for the rest of the fiscal year.
The bill funds all but ICE and *Border Patrol*
This was by unanimous voice vote. It now goes to the House, which is still in town and can vote later today.
The bill contains no reforms. It comes after POTUS pledged to fund TSA, removing a key pressure point.

I mean, he’s the nominee unless Trump endorses someone else. Pretty simple. Incumbent VP’s have a massive advantage in a presidential primary if they decide to run for president.
If Trump backs him (like most presidents back their VP), then he’s going to win the nomination and it won’t be close.
Unless we are in a scenario where the economy bottoms out and Trump is in W. Bush sub-30 approval range. Then maybe the Republican donor class and right-wing media revolt and demand a nominee who isn’t anchored to Trump’s unpopularity.
