@Fraudwatch99 I disagree that this is an issue with the series, at least for me. I still feel the thrill of exploring what's next even without the (significant) presence of a failure state. For me, the story also succeeded in making me interested into Subaru's psychological development.

@EdwinPr87218484 I agree with that, but that goes with most series that are big right? I'm criticizing mostly the setup, that are underwelming, and so far very weak. Memory loss arc usually is just annoying because its a lame overused trope, and re:zero fans lost credibility with season 3.

I remember last week many LN fans saying "this will be the best memory loss arc in history of fiction"... So far not impressed... still feels like a cheap excuse to "oh I want to make subaru desperate for his RBD again, so lets make a cheap excuse for memory loss" we'll see...

Fun fact for Re:Zero anime onlies: Everything you’ve watched so far was actually just the prologue for this arc however today’s episode marked the true beginning of Arc 6: "The Hall of Memories", stated by Tappei himself in the note he left at the end of the chapter

@ChibiReviews Both can affect the soul (Capella via the Od) and it seems Capella herself can't undo the dragon's blood that affects her. If it affects Mahito she might have a definite edge. Capella's transformations also seem more precise and perfect.
