What they don't tell you about the Armenian Genocide. It was not merely an Armenian Genocide, it was a Christian Genocide. Assyrians lost half their population & Greeks were wiped out of Anatolia. What they also don't tell you is that it wasn't some far-away Genocide executed by the Young Turks. It was executed not just by the Ottoman army, but by local Turks & Kurds. Villagers betrayed their Christian neighbours & used the fog of war to rape & pillage. The same thing happened when ISIS raided Mosul. The Kurds & Turks who executed Sayfo are now at war. Both claim these Christian towns are theirs. They rename them & erase their ancient Aramaic roots. They deny the genocide ever happened. This wasn't just an Armenian Genocide, it was an attempt to remove Christianity from the Middle East.

Turkey, Ragip Soylou, may be part of Europe but an "integral" part of Europe it has never been. You see Ragip Soylou, an integral part of any alliance aligns its goals with the alliance's objectives, something that Turkey has never done. Not since WWI, not in WWII, not any time since.
Instead, it has been bullying and threatening Europe to for instance flood it with illegal immigrants and jihadists. Instead it invaded and occupied Cyprus, a European country. Instead it is threatening Greece, also a European country, with a casus belli.
Turkey, Ragip Soylou, is nothing less but a significant threat to Europe. And THAT is a fact!
