@trashmaster48 @MajorRothschild @MassStatePolice Looking at the footage the Tesla was going 90+ mph and didn't slow down or avoid the truck. I think they had the last clear chance to avoid the accident and they were going crazy fast. I also assume that the Tesla would have avoided the truck if it were in auto pilot.

@MajorRothschild @MassStatePolice Hard to tell looks like the truck was half way into the lane when the Tesla hit it. I would be willing to bet auto pilot was engaged. Will find out fast though because everything is recorded in a Tesla. Whoever is responsible their insurance company is not going to be happy

UPDATE #3-The other vehicles involved in this crash other than the tanker were a 2022 GMC Sierra pickup and a 2022 Tesla Model Y SUV. Much of the load of fuel the tanker was carrying has spilled. There is no estimated completion time at this point. #MATraffic

I ran from a mass shooting today with my two little girls in my arms. We got separated from my wife. We hid behind a car and then sheltered in the apartment of some good Samaritans for 5 hours watching swat teams from the windows. We are all ok but we’re angry, very very angry.

@tomfleet How many are you trying to control at once? What about just a bigger micro? The Due processor has up to 103 IO, that's 25 steppers with dumb H drive, or 50 of you use a stepper control chip (step and dir)

Here's a question. Who's got ideas on how to cheaply control this many motors at once. Assume the CPU has the required resource to manage them all, processor wise. I/O and the drivers seem to be the limit. SPI, Shift registers and maybe discrete transistors for switching?

@matthewlee7 @ramit I would argue it's not the best time to sell, but potentially still a good time to sell. The best time to sell was when interest rates were still low and buyers were snatching up properties above list price within minutes of being listed even if it was an unstaged fixer upper.

Dave Ramsey just posted a video where he says, "Right now is the best time to buy a house in the next 5 years...prices are not going to go down...this is also the best time to sell a house" Lol. We could discuss, but just remember Dave is an antimasker. Logic is irrelevant

@ClosetConserv17 @AP To illustrate how this is dumb, I world then argue the TSA should go away because we've only lost 45 people per year since WWII to airline based terror attacks. We need to change so that is much more difficult for a troubled teen to go on a killing rampage. Common sense, no?

@ClosetConserv17 @AP By your logic we shouldn't worry or do anything to stop preventable deaths. You can always frame it as "not that bad". How about China, they have way more people and far fewer children (if any) that are executed while in school. Why shouldn't we strive for that safety level?
