Ha ha ha hahah ha. This is brilliant. They would need to put about 1,200 of those bottles into the pool to start killing the algae, which at the rate they're going would take about ten hours. But then you'll have a pool full of foamy, murky, rotting green-brown sludge, released cell contents, possible cyanobacterial toxins, and a nutrient-rich soup ready to grow the next disgusting bloom, which will reappear within days, because peroxide will only last in that water for a max of two days, so they'll have to do it all again. At a cost of $30k of chemicals each time.

Hydrogen peroxide is actually a great way to kill algae. Fish keepers use it as a last resort when you want to reset a tank completely because it kills everything from algae to bacteria and in 24 hours you can put your fish back in. But it does absolutely nothing to address why the reflecting pool has algae in the first place and it's just going to be back in a week or two unless the plan is to just dump hundreds of gallons of peroxide in the reflecting pool every week.

in 2021 i put $450k into palantir at $25. it dropped to $7. i sat in that drawdown for almost three years. when it finally came back i sold at $36 in nov 2024, relieved to get out with a gain. two months later it was $200. i'd love to tell you i didn't care. truth is i deleted it from my watchlist the day i sold so i wouldn't have to watch whatever came next. this was cope/pure self defense. but it worked. never reentered out of spite, never revenge traded it, never let it follow me into the next decision. not the first trade i royally screwed up. won't be the last. the only part you control is leaving clean.
