@Cybren @MVjagaimo Obviously it’s an effective method of weight loss — that’s almost a non-question. It increases calorie expenditure just across the board. It’s just about what you can willfully push through. The same way dieting is effective doesn’t mean you should stop eating food.

@Cybren @MVjagaimo Not that I’d imagine you would be in this situation, but, if you are fasting (no food at all not just intermittently) for multiple days+, you should not do any weightlifting. You will cannibalize your muscle. However, you can do low impact cardio almost risk free.

The question seems inane on its face, no? Exercise is sooo good for you, so if you every find yourself saying “exercise isn’t good for me now” there are probably other factors.
