big fan of john adams because the US got one POTUS (washington) whose defining characteristic was general disinterest in statecraft and he got deified in his lifetime. then it elevates a man who has lots of Big Ideas about how things should be done and everyone fucking hates it.

Stay out of a relationship if you wouldnt take your partner’s feelings into account over how you behave.
