@ReformUKSam @Alex89955815803 @reformparty_uk My answer to that is …. It’s no sweat for Cllr Sam because he’s heads above the rest! On the contrary it’s the opposition breaking out in fearful cold sweats because the know their ways & days are done. Don’t give up Sam. You’re over the target. 👍

To respond to some of the comments on this post let me clarify some things: I am a candidate because I’ve put in the work, reform believe in meritocracy; if you’re good enough you’re old enough. I have run a by election and co run a branch since the age of 17. At any age that is not easy. I don’t come from wealth; I grew up in a council flat in east London and went to one of the worst state schools in east London. I have made it this far through hard work, I’ve dedicated the past 2 years of my life to this. I haven’t just been chosen to fill a space.
Jamie Winslow🇬🇧@JPTWinslow

I am very pleased to announce that I am standing for Both Harlow and Essex County Council this May for Reform UK I have been a supporter of Reform since 16, I have run campaigns for them since 17 and now at 18 I hope to represent my neighbours in both District and County council. It’s a privilege to call the town my home with its rich history and great residents. Since I moved to Harlow, I have wasted no time speaking to locals across the town and my ward to understand what issues most concern them. And throughout these discussions it has become increasingly clear to me that Harlow residents are fed up with the two party system. They want someone who really cares about their local community with the competence to get things done. If elected, I plan to tackle issues such as child poverty, rising crime, and the increase in HMOs which occurred under the current Tory council. This election is a battle for the direction of the town and to many of those I speak to, it’s clear that #Harlow wants #Reform.

£20,000 raised in 24 hours. Unbelievable. I am genuinely overwhelmed. I did not expect this. Every notification, every donation, every share, I have read them all. Thank you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Because of you, I can now instruct counsel. The Particulars of Claim will be drafted by an expert barrister. Believe it or not, so far, I’ve been doing this on my own against McMahon’s heavyweight lawyers. The next target is £30,000. The additional £10,000 will cover the High Court issue fee. Shameful isn’t it? It will cost £10,000 to file in court. See how the odds are stacked against ordinary people like us? The moment this claim is formally issued will be when Jim McMahon has to answer for what he said. If you haven’t donated yet, please do it today. If you have, please share it. crowdfunder.co.uk/p/raja-miah-mb…

@Keir_Starmer While British families are still paying through the nose because of the Iran war you refused to properly back, you jetted off on another taxpayer-funded jolly to Saudi Arabia with your visibly depressed and angry wife in tow. The Saudi Crown Prince knocked you back on any oil deal and sent you home empty-handed. Yet there you were prancing around in front of the cameras pretending to be some great international statesman who “sorted” the ceasefire. You are not a statesman. You are a deranged, completely out-of-touch politician who has humiliated Britain on the world stage. While you were busy posing in the Gulf, thousands of IRGC operatives continue to operate freely across our country. God knows how many sleeper cells are already embedded. They run cyber attacks, smuggle military-grade drones through Turkey and the Balkans, and use the screaming “Allahu Akbar” mobs outside Downing Street as cover to recruit and radicalise. You know this is happening. MI5 has been screaming about it for years. Yet you keep the borders wide open, the networks keep growing, and your Labour government keeps platforming the very groups shielding these terrorists. The Muslim MPs and radical organisations you empowered have now turned on you and are openly cheering the enemies of Britain. You are the most despised Prime Minister in modern history and you’ve earned every single bit of it. You run from your own PMQs, jump on planes, and lie on world television while embarrassing England wherever you go. You declared “this is not our war. We will not be drawn into the conflict.” Translation: you hid like a spineless coward while Trump and Israel did the real work. The ceasefire was announced by Donald Trump. You had zero role. Yet you still tried to claim credit like the pathetic opportunist you are. You pushed weak “de-escalation” talks while the Strait of Hormuz burned and British families paid the price. Pure Neville Chamberlain appeasement. Now you repeat “there’s still a lot of work to do” as Iran issues fresh threats. Your photo-op diplomacy achieved nothing. You lecture us about energy prices while you’ve spent years sabotaging North Sea oil and gas. Every single part of British life, security, borders, energy, identity, economy, is being deliberately damaged under your watch. This is no longer incompetence. This is treason in high office. You have sold out Britain’s interests, betrayed our closest allies, emboldened our enemies at home and abroad, and put your own political survival above the safety and future of the British people. You really do need to step down and let real men take over. The reckoning is coming. Britain First. No Surrender. 🦁🇬🇧

After a gruelling and now hard won fight, tonight the Chagos surrender deal seems to have finally been thrown into the dustbin of history. It was a shameful deal, built on fundamentally flawed principles. No British Government has the moral right to barter away the sovereignty of British territory to a foreign power without the full, meaningful consent of its people. The Chagossians have been woefully ignored for decades and decades - whether that was back in the 1960s when Labour dispossessed them from their ancestral homeland, or under the Conservatives who refused to allow resettlement or self-determination to the Chagossian people, and Labour today, surrendering their islands to Mauritius, while the British taxpayer foots an eye-watering bill for the privilege. For over twenty years, I have campaigned on this issue, and it has been astonishing - truly astonishing - to watch Labour ministers attempt to defend the indefensible. Handing over sovereignty of the Chagos Islands to Mauritius, only to lease back a vital strategic asset at enormous cost, was never a sensible or sustainable course of action and to argue that they were doing so for the sake of our national security would be laughable if it wasn’t outright dangerous. It was a diplomatic absurdity and a betrayal of our national interest. That this proposal has now unravelled only reinforces how ill-conceived it was from the outset. The reported costs, running into the billions, represent a staggering burden on the British taxpayer for no benefit, while simultaneously placing the future of the critically important base at Diego Garcia in jeopardy. I hope this shocking episode serves as a wake-up call that this Government cannot be trusted with our national security. The principle must now be restated that British sovereignty over the Chagos Islands, or any of other British Overseas Territories, are not for sale and not up for negotiation. Self-determination must be upheld and Britain must stand firm in defence of our territories and the rights of their inhabitants.

EXCLUSIVE Sir Keir Starmer has been forced to drop legislation which would cede sovereignty of the Chagos Islands to Mauritius in a further deterioration of relations with Donald Trump The Times has been told that a bill underpinning the controversial deal will not be included in the King's Speech next month after the US president branded it an "act of great stupidity" and withdrew his support The government stands by the deal and will attempt to persuade Trump to change his mind but has acknowledged that it cannot proceed without his backing Ministers are "deeply frustrated" with Trump, who initially supported the deal after extensive discussions between intelligence agencies but changed his mind during a dispute with Nato over plans to seize Greenland The government believes that it puts the future of Diego Garcia, the UK-US base in the islands which has been used during the Iran war, at risk It is concerned that Mauritius will mount a legal challenge granting it access to the waters around Diego Garcia, making it harder for the base to host nuclear submarines and patrol surrounding waters The deal was highly contentious. It would have seen Britain hand over the islands to Mauritius before immediately entering into a 99-year lease for Diego Garcia. The government claimed it would cost £3.5billion, although the Tories disputed this and said it would cost £35billion his over its lifetime. thetimes.com/uk/politics/ar…

.@AlPinkerton is absolutely correct. For months, as a Shadow Foreign Affairs Minister, I lobbied for an amendment to guarantee self-determination for the Chagossians, only to be told it was not ‘party policy’. When the time came to vote on Al’s amendment, I was instructed - as a Shadow Minister and as someone who has campaigned on this issue for decades - to abstain on the very principle that underpins my position. Meanwhile, Reform rightly voted with the Liberal Democrats. After that vote, I felt utterly ashamed. Especially given I had invited in large numbers of Chagossians into Parliament week after week assuring them that we were on their side. There are many Conservatives who fought the good fight, but for the Conservative Party to claim this as their victory is an insult to the Chagossians and reeks of hypocrisy. They had fourteen years to put right this wrong, but failed to do so and were equally as guilty of denying the right of self determination to the Chagossian people as Labour.
Al Pinkerton MP@AlPinkerton

@KemiBadenoch @JamesCleverly This is flatly untrue. You even whipped your MPs to abstain on my amendment to grant Chagossians a referendum to self-determine their own future. That whipping operation directly led to the defection of @AndrewRosindell - a doughty advocate for Chagossians - to Reform.

@policylaila @AlisonHawk48557 Who do they think they are! What makes him think he’s in best position to decide about movement of people? I don’t care how many international mayors he’s worked with. Migration into Uk is for the ppl of this Country to decide. Only they & their opinions matter.

A Labour peer and former Bristol Mayor just showed exactly what Labour really thinks about illegal migration👇 “The movement of people leads to economic prosperity. We just need to make it ‘humane’.” Really? Humane to whom? To the young girl who was raped, to the British family waiting years for a home? To the nurse priced out of the city she works in? To the taxpayer funding asylum hotels £8 million a day. Every single day? Labour never asks those questions. Their compassion flows one way and it is not towards us. Now let’s look at the Mayors Migration Council , the global network this peer boasts about working with. Funded by George Soros. Their belief? Cities must house, employ, and provide services to whoever arrives, no questions, no limits, whether local people like it or not. And it all starts to make sense. This is what Labour and the Greens mean when they say “Refugees Welcome”. Welcome at whose expense? Welcome over whom? Every home allocated is a British family pushed down the list. Every school place taken is one a local child waited for. Every GP appointment, every council service, every hotel room paid for by taxpayers who were never agreed or even given a choice. They guilt-trip anyone who dares disagree as having no compassion. It is not compassion. It is virtue signalling paid for by people who had no say in it. The British people are not evil to want their borders enforced. They are not heartless for wanting housing prioritised. They are not racist for asking one simple question: For God’s sake, what about us ?

The Iran War is a reminder that Reform UK cannot be trusted. Farage was gung-ho in favour of Trump’s illegal war - which is wreaking havoc on the cost of living - before it became politically expedient to U-turn. Only Plaid Cymru can stop Reform’s Trumpian politics in Wales.
