@OogakiChud @severeerror52 As a PC, nothing is stopping a consumer from removing the SteamOS and running whatever they want. Steam has no guarantee that it'll make its money back from people buying on Steam. Add in the component crisis, and they sure as hell aren't going to sell it 300 bucks off.

@OogakiChud @severeerror52 How hard is it to understand that in a traditional console, you are hardlocked to that console's ecosystem? Xbox, Nintendo, and Sony consoles lock you into their storefronts, where they make their money back over time and more. A Gabecube is a PC - they said so themselves.

@Punk_Bat Then you're just better off playing the Classic Marathon trilogy. It's way more fun playing a boom shooter with a compelling narrative in it. Plus, you can slaughter the Pfhor and those pesky BoBs for three whole games as THE John Marathon instead of some fragile Runner.
