Personally I think that as long as we eat other animals in the occidental culture, we shouldn't judge oriental culture if they eat different animals, of course a dog can be considered as more useful and intelligent animal than for exemple a cow, but ethically I think that if you want to delete the eating of dogs, you should also delete the eating of all the other animals
