Wilshere has obviously inherited a dire situation and a squad low on confidence and quality. But, what is he actually bringing to the table? I’ve seen no tangible impact so far. Yes he’s inexperienced and still learning, but how long do we allow for that? #LTFC

I recall being in the 1st Team dressing room at Luton. It was tough, 30 point deduction. But Mick Harford spoke about walking toward the tunnel. He said, they know if you cheat. If you lose trying, they will clap you off. If you dont, you'll know!

That was absolutely appalling. We have a board who can’t make a decent footballing decision, recruitment that can’t sign a fit player, a manager who has no idea how to compete in league 1. Sadly the board ain’t sacking themselves so we are stuck with them barring serious protest!

For me,if Nakamba is still ere come end of window it just highlights what went wrong as soon as we had a little bit of 💰💰💰...just who negotiated a contract which has him now seemingly unable to play for financial reasons🤬

Surely he could sit in & break up play in league 1 if he's fit enough to travel & play in African Nations🤷🏻♂️

@0190dw @LutonNews_LTFC @Rolt49 This is exactly it for me. Just because he's fit enough to play for Zimbabwe, doesn't mean he's fit enough to play league football, and wouldn't be a liability. Vertu Trophy games a much lower intensity.
Also, with only 6 subs, and 5 to use, you need players who can play 90 mins.

And still it would be strange for Villa to put one in when selling a midfielder who was almost 30 at the time. Yes Luton haven't been good, but if he's not properly fit, then it's unlikely he'd feature.

@Rolt49 2/2...for me that showed ambition & an intent to pay more than needed to get us up. Fact it's back-fired shows what a lottery succeeding in the game is. Will make 2020 even more careful. Football success is about rare moments when hungry managers & players gel. NJ epitomised it.

Spare squad places now filled. Harris & Archer back. Anyone thinking we'll sign strikers, creative midfielders, left-footed CDs etc need to wake up. No-one is taking our players (apart from LN) unless it costs us big. We won't be splashing out & rightly so. Got a stadium to build
