Cautiously optimistic for Black Ops 7. Death to tac sprint is one of the best changes Call of Duty has made in years. I know they have a perk for it, but this seems very promising.

Ill try make this tweet short and simple but one of the reasons why “I” feel like *sports* games (not gonna discuss 1st/3rd shooters, BRs, etc.) as a whole feels repetitive the entire year is three simple keys in order. Here’s my personal list. 3. Meta - Nowadays, there will always be a meta no matter the game that you play. Gameplay Animations, Guns, Skins (That aren't just cosmetic), Characters, etc. are all apart of the meta in the gaming world. I would like to truly say that most of the people that do play Meta is their fault and that's why it gets stale very quickly, but the game itself also enables a meta and the game developers are okay with it. I also understand why, from a casual standpoint you want to win more and from the competitive side you want to master the meta to objectively win the most. 2. There's always a catch - What I mean by this is that there is always going to be something for you that the sports game advertises in-game. At the end of the day it is a business but lets be real as a video game user we all just want to play the game and have a fun experience. People feel as if already they have to spend over $200+ because they have to upgrade their player, spend money on packs, etc. Imo this will probably never change but I think over the years people got tired of that cycle and decided to value their money elsewhere, hence as why they're *mainly* only trying to maximize profits off user and not gain more users. 1. Lack of Innovation/Game-Changing new additions to the game products yearly - This one hits home for me because as I grew up, there were new introductions that people never seen before. Specifically for me, FUT/MUT Champs and NBA 2K park. We've never heard of anything like that, competing for rewards and loading up a open world with your friends. Over the years though I feel as if there isn't something BIG being added, whether it's a completely new mode, a game mode, etc. That's what sports gaming is really missing, a brand new mode that people will get people genuinely excited for the new release. Thank you for taking you time to read this and btw if you're a dev/marketer/manager/someone with a job in the gaming industry, don't take this personally or act like it's a shot at any developers. All critical thinking and a personal opinion.
