@shtetlite @maiamindel yes, america obviously cares about the safety of its citizens abroad, to a point. my point was that Americans abroad *deserve* to be afraid because of the actions and ideological propaganda of their leaders.

I think it’s self-evidently untrue that Americans would feel unsafe in Israel because Graham Platner got a Nazi tattoo while in the military. To me, it would be insane to say that him getting that tattoo is evidence that America doesn’t care about the safety of its citizens abroad
