Everyone is going to cite that these are done in different places, but the main issue is that different people are taking the measurements AND - most importantly - not every prospect's AC joint is as easy to locate and be the starting point of the measurement.

Utah OL Spencer Fano’s arms measured 32 7/8 just now at his pro day, up from 32 1/8 at the Combine. Another indication that, for whatever reason, the measurements in Indy were short for a number of prospects. That’s a big 3/4 inch difference for Fano.

@Peter_Bukowski @MCD1592 lol so I guess we agree on the cap stuff because you keep ignoring it. We’re just going to have agree to disagree on the contender piece. Feels silly to me to be prognosticating on who are contenders when meaningful games don’t take place in the next 6 months, markets or not.

@Peter_Bukowski @MCD1592 Well you didn’t even acknowledge the first part pertaining to the cap. We both know a team being all in is reflected by cash spend more than cap. I actually never said you were wrong, just early to be proclaiming them to not be contenders. They aren’t now but that can change.

@Peter_Bukowski @MCD1592 The point is that the markets were very wrong about both trade and Super Bowl odds. Super Bowl betting markets are useful directionally but using them this far out is a bit of a fool’s errand.

@Sam_Winks @MCD1592 Those sorts of markets are entirely speculative. The futures markets are data-driven. The "favorites" to trade for someone and the "favorites" to win the Super Bowl are barely even the same concept.

@MCD1592 @Sam_Winks As Bears fans are quick to point out, just making the Super Bowl (as say, a 7 seed) is not true contending.
You have to have a reasonably good shot relative to your peers.
The markets do not see the Bears as that. They're 12:1 to win the NFC. 6 teams are 8:1 or shorter.

@Sam_Winks The draft happening is built into the projection my dude. It's going to happen for everyone. That's baked into the price in the marketplace.
Not to mention I've never seen a single draft move a team pre-draft projected 3rd in their own division to top ~4 in conference odds.
