@NiallHarbison Niall I love your honesty. It’s ok to feel the way you do and it’s ok for others to admit their world isn’t sunshine and rainbows. We all struggle at times and some more than others.

My confidence and self worth haven’t been great lately and I just wanted to say thats ok so other people who suffer with depression or anxiety know that it’s ok to feel like that. I’m CEO of Happy Doggo and most people in positions like mine have to hide stuff like this. Most people in all positions In life do actually. It’s really hard to admit you don’t feel the best about yourself. That’s why I just write it down as I feel because maybe it’ll help someone. Between our team, partners and everything wrapped up in what I do there are probably 100+ people who rely on me. Add in social media, donors and everything else and that’s a massive happy facade to keep up. I’ve learnt though that it’s ok to say you are not ok. At the moment I’m going through the motions. Still working hard and trying my best but I feel a bit worthless. No self worth at all. I also have imposter syndrome. I know I can jus read the comments here or look at the dogs saved and I should be happy but it doesn’t bring me anything. I look in the mirror at the moment and can’t even really look at myself. No particular reason or spark for this. As people who suffer know it just comes in a dark wave like a fog. I could easily share some happy dog photos and smile and pretend I felt amazing. But I’d rather be honest and try to help others. I have untold amounts of support and good luck that many of you dont. So if you're feeling down or a little rough right now, that's okay because so am I, and it's absolutely fine to say that. Have a lovely weekend and be kind to each other ❤️

Asked a Temporary Accommodation Officer that called me (and had no idea who or what I do) if they could call another department to book emergency accommodation for a family that will otherwise be street homeless tonight… They said: ‘why would I do that. That’s another department’s issue’

Well that was bloody exhausting again. Less people overall, but more I was worried about. I think I need to write about this, and how the response post- covid had shown NO learning and how HCP are considered expendable, physically and mentally and public health responses and Comms are still confused.

Good morning all, Ryan's just been picked up to be taken to his daycentre, he gets in the car sits there looks around in glovebox grabs a mint and says "Spain soon Rick" and off he goes happily chomping away on the taxi drivers mints talking about Spain. @DanFriedman81 To me it doesn’t matter who he is. If the price of his work is plummeting it is unlikely to matter to him, I’m sure he’ll survive. For people who were rich enough to afford it the joke’s on them. I just enjoy the social commentary! The value of art is surely subjective anyway?!

Banksy has been known in the graffiti community since 1990 and had his first gallery show in 2002. “Exit Through the Gift Shop” came out in 2011. How can you be disappointed that he is a British guy in his fifties? What else could he be? Did people literally believe he was some kind of supernatural entity?

Bad relationships or getting into the wrong relationship can make you feel there’s no way out, but there always is a way no matter what you are facing. There are always people who care and who can help no matter what.

This was me in June last year. A few hours after this picture was taken, I nearly killed myself. I was pulled away from the platform edge by my ex and her sister. It was a matter of seconds. I didn’t see a future. I’m still here and that’s all that matters.

@JuneMccarthy10 @TiggywinklesUK I feel the same, but that’s not the fault of migration. The housing stock in this country, especially social housing is old and low. The housing that’s being built is mostly for profit. The affordable housing quotas are often not fulfilled 😞

@Samuttin @TiggywinklesUK I am very glad for the two leverets saved, but fear building millions of homes, now on green belt land means a very significant amount of habitat for hares and all animals will be lost, animal numbers decline further.

These two tiny leverets were rescued from a construction site after being discovered in a dangerous spot, right in the path of ongoing works. Relying on camouflage & stillness to stay safe, sadly, doesn’t work on a building site. With expert care we'll help them back to the wild.

@JuneMccarthy10 @TiggywinklesUK I think you are fooling yourself into believing migrants are the cause of everything bad, whereas in reality things are far more complex. Two leverets have been saved and that is a good thing!

@TiggywinklesUK Too much land now being given over to Too many building sites to provide housing for many thousands of illegal economic migrants, who are taking advantage of open borders and the British taxpayers. Wildlife will suffer greatly, but no one with any power seems to care.

This tiny badger cub was found out alone in the day - cold, hungry, and far too young to be without mum. Now safe at Tiggywinkles, he’s getting round-the-clock care, warmth, and the company and comfort of other cubs while he regains his strength. 💚
