We’re opening a new round of dyslexia assessment bursaries for young people aged 12–21. Every child deserves the chance to understand their dyslexia, but for many low-income families, a diagnosis is out of reach. Thanks to @TheoPaphitis and the amazing @RymanStationery team, we can offer assessments to young people who would otherwise go without. A diagnosis can change a child’s confidence, their education, and their future. Applications are open until the 9 January 2026. But what do I know... I'm only a former resident and expert in real time data monitoring and environment survey who has costed it. Too many stakeholders selfishly hoarding data for own purposes. The Lake deserves it's data.

#Windermere in the news is infuriating. Where, when and how to warn companies and public of impending issues could cost as little as £60/70k and a maintenance contact. @timfarron it's just a matter of who pays. The Lake deserves better I hope it achieves juridic personhood.
