I know a girl who has made the seamless transition from the Labour Party to supporting the Greens and everything they stand for. She’s anti-Israel, anti-capitalist, she hates the Tories and Reform, and thinks border controls are racist. You name it, she’s in. But I also happen to know that she lives in a nice flat in an expensive area, has amazing holidays and meals out….and she never pays for any of it. She’s more than happy to let others fund it all (with not the slightest interest in how they have had to earn that money). I guess that makes her the epitome of the modern socialist.

If it did happen, then it was wrong of those people but it doesn’t make the whole rally non peaceful and it’s unfair to label tens of thousands of people with the same brush.

I don’t think you can describe a gathering as a “peace rally” if at some point during it, people start shouting “Death to (insert someone or some group here).”
