How should i start 🤔: I think many people are missing some things. This is not only about Mission 70 or about reducing inflation, even though reducing inflation is a good thing. The bigger issue is that Web3, outside our own market, is still widely seen as speculation, hype, or outright scam. And if we are honest, when $ICP launched in 2021, we did not yet have enough real products to seriously challenge that perception. I am sorry to say it, but many ICP projects have had little to no real adoption. Most were used only inside the ecosystem, not by a broader audience. There are a few exceptions. @OpenChat has shown some traction. @caffeineai looks promising. Some DeFi projects are also solid. But overall, too many funded projects were not strong enough, not new enough, or simply not needed enough by the wider market. That raises a difficult question: why were so many of these projects funded in the first place? In many cases, it was obvious they would struggle, because they were copies of existing ideas without a compelling reason for people outside the ecosystem to use them. If a product is not clearly better, clearly needed, or launched at the right time, it will fail no matter how much support it receives. And this is not only an ICP problem. Much of Web3 has been shaped by imitation, speculation, and marketing without substance. Meme coin culture and low-quality hype have damaged the reputation of the entire space. That is exactly why moving beyond the old Web3 framing is so important. Timing matters. The right product at the right time can change everything. And I think @dfinity is moving in a better direction now with CE, AI, and products that can solve real-world problems. The timing may actually be better now than ever before. AI is getting stronger every year. Cybersecurity is becoming a central issue. Trust in large tech companies is weakening. Geopolitical tensions are increasing. All of this creates an opportunity for infrastructure and products that are secure, sovereign, efficient, and actually useful. That is why I think Mission 70 should be seen as a booster, not as the foundation. Reducing inflation can help. Better tokenomics can help. But none of that replaces real adoption. You cannot justify a high cycle burn rate without products that the wider population or real institutions actually need. The foundation has to be products with genuine demand. This is why Cloud Engine stands out to me. I believe it is one of the strongest products in the ICP ecosystem, and one of the most serious products in the broader blockchain space. I do not see any blockchain product at that level. Adoption may start slowly, especially with governments, because bureaucracy is high and decision-making is slow. But it does not need to start everywhere at once. If a few companies adopt ICP based infrastructure, or if a few governments start using it and the results are clearly positive, that can create a scalable effect. At that point, @dfinity should invite those companies or government representatives to speak at tech conferences or at World Computer Day. They should explain what they built with Cloud Engine, why they chose it, how efficient and cost-effective it was, and what value it created for them. That kind of real customer validation is some of the best marketing possible. It is far more powerful when actual users explain the product than when the ecosystem only talks about itself. If that happens, I think smart capital will notice first. Serious investors will see real adoption, real efficiency, and real market potential, and that is how larger amounts of money can begin flowing into ICP. That is how price appreciation becomes sustainable: not through empty hype, but through visible success. After that, retail will follow. That can create hype, but this time the foundation is build on actually on products and not only tech it self.

Highly requested feature is live! Sometimes Caffeine gets stuck during data model migrations, we know. Then, a "clean install" might be the solution. Wipe your live project and clean out old junk that have built up while building. Also perfect to do before launch if your app has filled up with dummy data.

$ICP Community It was posted yesterday, @jerrybanfield voted his neurons (including those who follow his neuron for voting) nay on Mission 70 proposal & some/if not all/most would've voted yay. Therefore, I propose a change to the voting in that, if u follow a neuron & dont agree with way it voted, we have ability to change vote (1 time) before voting period ends. What u guys think? @dfinity @BobbyO_ @ChrisYost_ @Zero2HeroZombie @BlockchainPill $ICP $CLOUD ⛈️⛈️⛈️

I think @dfinity should vote for the Mission 70 proposal because they developed the technology for the Internet Computer. They can now decide what gets adopted and what does not. When the no votes are only a small percentage, Dfinity, vote yes! I don’t think they need to change it again, because that is really not necessary. It would just create more work for nothing. $ICP

That is how ecosystems really scale. First, a few strong products prove themselves. Then adoption creates trust. Trust attracts capital. Capital attracts builders. Builders create more products. And those products bring in even more users. That is the real scalability of technology. So for me, the path forward is clear: less dependence on old Web3 narratives, less focus on copies and hype, more focus on products with real external demand, and more emphasis on showing the world actual working use cases. Mission 70 can support that process and I think you should vote yes!! But adoption is what will ultimately change everything. We will see this in the next few years, I’m sure, because there isn’t really a better product out there.

Before Claude, I spent months stuck in error loops vibe coding on $ICP. Then @swissyai introduced me to @claudeai. Claude Opus acts as my own world-class ICP dev. No error loops. It handles its own errors. In 90 days I went from frustrated vibe-coding noob to deploying these dApps on the Internet Computer 🏗️ 📼☁️1/ Chris's Cloud — ICP video portfolio + production crowdfunding (@oisy integration) 🏃‍♂️⏱️2/ RPG-themed Run Tracker/leaderboard (for me and my running buds) 🏃‍♂️⚔️ 🎧🎵3/ Music Hosting Platform — onchain audio/video 🖼️🗳️4/ NFT photo auction platform (ICRC-7) Full video breakdown series dropping soon 💻⛓️🤖📹

The ICP Apprentice
The ICP Apprentice@ICPapprentice·
Apple's "Walled Garden" Had Six Holes in the Fence. Three Nobody Knew About. A full-chain exploit kit called DarkSword has been silently hijacking iPhones since at least November 2025, and both commercial surveillance vendors and nation-state actors have been sharing it like a library card. The Skeleton Key Was Mass-Produced Six exploits chained together. Three were zero-days. Unknown to Apple. Unknown to the world. Not a single vulnerability was enough alone. Stacked, they meant total device takeover. Passwords. Messages. Location. Microphone. Everything. The most "secure" consumer device on earth, opened like a screen door. The Customer List Is the Threat Model Google Threat Intelligence, iVerify, and Lookout all confirmed it independently. Multiple buyers. Multiple operators. Commercial spyware firms and suspected state-sponsored groups. This wasn't one attacker with one target. This was an exploit kit with a customer base. Supply chain for surveillance, productized and distributed. The Moat Was Marketing Apple's security reputation is built on control. Closed ecosystem, app review, hardware integration. But centralized control is a single point of failure. When the fortress is breached, every device behind the wall is exposed simultaneously. 2.2 billion active devices, one attack surface. The architecture that was supposed to protect users became the reason the blast radius was total. The Exit Was Already Being Built Decentralized identity. User-held keys. Infrastructure where no single vendor's failure means complete exposure. The Internet Computer $ICP already runs this architecture. Sovereign, on-chain, no corporate gatekeeper standing between users and their own data. Link to article in comments. See the signal. ♾🚨

In it for the tech the tokenomics will handle itself. Your friend is looking at the situation with blinders on like race horses. Nothing has changed if at all the stage for ICP has only improved. There is nothing, Nothing out there that can do what ICP offers. Patience.
🎃Pumpkin Seed🎃@Super_90000

if Mission70 fails, would you still hold ICP? or are you leaving? I spoke to a friend on OpenChat, he said Mission70 proposal is his last stand, if it fails, he would sell and leave. asking all retail $ICP holders. what is your opinion if Mission70 fails to pass #ICP chads?
