The accusation that politicians are abusing kids is extremely serious. Real cases of abuse do exist and are prosecuted but broad sweeping claims about entire groups without evidence are not factual and can be misleading.

What’s really going on here
It’s less about facts and more about emotion: distrust, anger and feeling like systems aren’t working. The language is intense because it’s trying to wake people up, not carefully explain policy.
