I can’t imagine why this has to be answered again, but here goes. Because there are Islamic scholars who professionally use the library. Muslims pray five times a day on a very strict schedule. They do not just pray sitting down quietly. They have physical gestures to do and words that need to be spoken out loud. The scholars asked if there would be a room that they could go to where they could privately do their thing without interrupting any of the other library patrons. The Vatican said yes, and provided them with a small space.

I’m sure they are more than capable. After all, Carney and the Liberals changed course to see good policy as evidenced by all the CPC policies they have poached since the national nightmare known as Trudeau ended. One might even argue, the Liberals would never have been reelected if they hadn’t adopted CPC policies.

The Carney Liberals did not win a majority government through a general election or today's by-elections. Instead, it was won through backroom deals with politicians who betrayed the people who voted for them. While the Prime Minister spent the year on this cynical power grab, he has doubled the deficit, and given Canada the worst grocery prices and housing costs in the G7. Liberals expect Canadians to give up, get complacent and go away, so Carney can have total power without any accountability. That will not happen. Our country and its people are worth fighting for. We will continue to fight for people to afford homes, food and fuel. We will continue to fight for safety in our streets. We will continue to fight for our resource workers and soldiers. I will continue to lead that fight every day and in every way in Parliament, across the country and in the next election, when Canadians will reclaim the country we know and love.

I can’t imagine Poilievre quitting, no matter by elections, and no matter if the 40 discontented MPs cross the floor to LPC, or sit as independents in anticipation of reconstituting Progressive Party. Why would he give up mansion, 6 figure salary and 8 figure expense account? /1
