One of the biggest ironies about the modern Democratic Party is its attempt to monopolize a phrase (Our Democracy) that it actively stands against. The Democratic Party is actually one of the most anti-Democratic forces to have ever existed. Democracy rests on the rulers and the ruled recognizing each other as belonging to the same pre-political “we”. They have to see themselves as sharing a linked fate. In a democracy, losing an election isn’t the end of the world because the people who beat you are still *your people*. They may be wrong. They may even be idiots. But they are YOUR idiots. They’re still bound up in the same destiny as you are. That is not how the modern Democratic Party sees the country. Despite its name, it isn’t a democratic party at all. It’s a liberal managerial party that sees democracy as an obstacle, even as it invokes the word “Our Democracy” to justify their relentless assault on a unified American identity.

People like this hate the Confederates because the Confederates are a stand in for all Heritage American whites who refuse to bow before the false god of equity and equality This is why the leftist terror groups of the 1970s and today style themselves as latter day John Browns; they want to do to America what was done in Haiti, and revel in the thought of it

My wife was 22 and I was 23 when we married. We eventually had 8 children. Our 20s were marked by Boomer generation “advisors” at the grocery store, events, restaurants, and stores WARNING us not to have more children. They openly pitied us for having 3+ children. Boomer women thought my wife was being oppressed by her husband. At an Outback, a man openly told me “I feel sorry for you for having those kids.” Many Boomers were brainwashed to perceive having children “as a bad thing.” Worst of all, they felt empowered to insult a young couple in the presence of our children. Meanwhile, these people were in favor of importing the entire Third World into America for the sake of GDP. What a strange moment in American history.

I am 51 and deeply regret not having kids. I was stringently brainwashed into believing that I should never have children. I’ve never even been pregnant as far as I know. I was on birth control from age 16 through age 49.

ATTN: Candace's neighbors, staff, classmates, ex boyfriends... please send me tips on her schedule and any personal info, past or present, you have on her. See how unhinged that sounds? Now imagine she's a widow and I was a close friend & ex employee of her husband. Ick

@nosoup4knowles Might be unhinged but the cops do it all the time. They interview family members, classmates, ex boyfriends, look at her schedule and any personal information past or present to dismiss her as a suspect. Close it out and look elsewhere.

@Communism_Kills I love how Ryan, an astute student of stoicism allows one man to control so much of his emotions when that man has so little direct barring on his life. The irony is palpable.

@FischerKing64 Flashback to 2016 when Hillary supporters were arguing "she's the most experienced candidate in the race!" Yes, exactly, that's why I didn't want her in.

@jonathanchait Yeah, I bet non-leftists actually remembering things you people say is really inconvenient for a movement that relies on total narrative control with selective memory

@politicalmath The thought process goes something like "Being a brilliant guitarist is good" "Wrongthink is bad" "Therefore, Eric Clapton cannot be a brilliant guitarist because bad is not good"

It's been fascinating to watch mainstream liberal culture slowly boil every human quality down to politics Is he the greatest guitarist of all time? "Well I can't answer that question until I see their tweets during Covid"
Robin Monotti@robinmonotti

Rolling Stone moved Eric Clapton down from the top 10 of greatest guitar players of all time to 35 because he admitted to being Covid "vaccine" injured & refused to discriminate on entry to his concerts based on "vaccine" status. They even admit the reasoning in the explanation!
