Here's my chief problem with rollups: You can get fucked if you think you're going to drive up fee pressure with state posting, and therefore drive up fees on rollups, and then cry for a blocksize increase.

A critical aspect of Bitcoin's design, and a hot topic of debate when making changes to it it, is its resistance to state level attacks, and how to maintain/improve that. A single company comes along (Jane Street) and completely destroys a unrelated and poorly designed protocol (Terra/LUNA) and you're outraged because why exactly? Terra/LUNA was "Delegated Proof-of-Stake". TerraUSD was an "algorithmic stablecoin". We have been telling you these things are inherently broken for years.

Algorithmic stable coins are garbage. Jane Street just proved it. What do you want? A government bailout for a garbage system?
