@cecililytweets Every yellow tick is a full stat point. Orange markers are an extra stat point due to Nature. E.G. Pokemon has 57 base points, so with 10% boost it has 62.7. Each yellow point adds 1.1, so 63.8, 64.9, 66 (orange marker here)

can someone help me make sense of the markers here? we have the red slots and the white arrows on top — what are they representing? should I stop adding EVs after this point because it won't translate to an extra stat point or am I misunderstanding?

@ItsPapaJefe I did some (much smaller scale) science, and also came to the conclusion rainbows are good. However did you ever see Rainbow with 2 level 3 on the same color? For example, a rainbow with level 3 Item and level 3 haul. I saw a lot of 2x level 3s on Rainbow, but always split flavor

Rainbow Donuts also seem to unlock rolling Level 3 on their 2nd Power. Over hundreds of Sour Donuts in the 415-465 range, I never rolled Level 3 on the 2nd Power. Rainbow rolled Level 3 on the second power 37.17% of the time. (5/6)

The Donut Video is ready! Link will be below. TLDR: These are the most useful Rainbow Donut Recipes I could find. I made over 1000 donuts for this project, learned some pretty cool stuff so I'll share it here below 👇 (1/6)

@Lewchube Can you get Level 5 Zones and the rare ball rewards before Rayquaza? I wanted to catch my Rayquaza in a Safari, but don’t have any yet

@JoeMerrick I have bets on Pokemon Home compatibility coming then, and these Mega Stones being permanently distributed as an in game prize for connecting to Home (like most games get a full starter set for Home Connection)

@CoraCHarrington ‘Forced smiling’ is baked into a lot of AI image stuff due to being trained and reinforced into replicating the modern American grin - ignoring any cultural or historical context. I read this Medium article sharing a similar insight/concern a while back. @socialcreature/ai-and-the-american-smile-76d23a0fbfaf" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">medium.com/@socialcreatur

Every “edit” the group made - which is mostly AI - showed the Black woman smiling. And not a small smile: a grin. I’ve been thinking about that a lot, and AI being used to rewrite history and make certain folks feel more comfortable about the past.

I’m in a photo editing group on FB, and this woman asked for a photo of her mother and twin sister as toddlers to be cleared up a bit. The little girls are white and they’re being held in the arms of a Black domestic servant. The domestic worker is not smiling.

@xisumavoid Recent tunnel rats video was very fun! I would suggest it would help if there was a "spectator layer" generated for each map, to help spectators/video viewers remember map layout? Like in picture

@babybeginner @woke8yearold Every student getting a C cannot fit, Fact #2 explicitly tells us *every* grade lower than B- missed 1+ session. If E is incorrect, more than have the students scored lower than B-, thus more than half the students missed 1+ session, thus Fact #1 cannot be correct.

I don’t like any of them. One by one: It can’t be A. For all we know all the students got a B and no one got anything higher. It can’t be B. It is possible that most of the students who missed a class got higher than a B minus. Maybe only the one person who missed a class got the grade lower than a B- It can’t be D. Maybe no one else in the whole class missed a day. Maybe it was only one student who missed a day and got lower than a B- It could be that no other student missed a day of class. Or maybe all of the students who missed a day of class got lower than a B-. We have no information that at least one student who missed a day of class got higher than a B- . It can’t be C. We know that all of the students who got lower than a B- missed a day of class. We also know that most of the students attended all the classes. But it is possible that the highest grade in the class was a B- So we cannot infer from this that anyone got higher than a B- It can’t be E either. Maybe every student got a C. That would fit. They could have a bunch of students that went every day. Some missed classes. But the highest possible grade anyone got was a C. I don’t like any of these answers. Are we to infer the class is graded on a curve? If so, I suppose I’ll have to go with A. But I don’t like making that inference. There are classes where no one gets a A- or higher.

Since everyone is talking about LSAT questions, here's one of the "170 breaker questions." There are ~12 on each test and they are meant to be the hardest questions on the LSAT. Getting them right tends to predict scoring very highly (above 170)

@SeedTheRNG @woke8yearold There can't be students with 100% attend and C. Fact #2 explicitly tells us every grade lower than B- missed 1 session. And B is an inversion of Fact #2, which doesn't necessarily make it true. 6 students missed a session, 4 got As, 2 got Cs, Fact #2 is valid, and B is not.

E ain't it Most attended every class session - over half the class, yes But it doesn't say they got grades higher then a B- there could be students that attended all sessions and got Cs B is the only inference we can make as it rewords a sentence from the question almost verbatim

@woke8yearold This is E) right? A&D are making definitive extrapolations about groups we didn't receive any info for. B is the inverse of Fact #2, which isn't necessarily true. C is not inclusive of most attendees receiving B-. But E cannot be invalidated without invalidating a stated fact.

@Zirene Is the current behavior of AQ HM Noxious Burst the intended one? Most groups see green visual + explosion after 3 seconds and assume it's a regular 'spread when you get the thing' but because of the way it's applied, by the time visual appears, it's too late to spread.

@Solar_Sas @biggestjoel @STANN_co If an artist is in good faith seeking to improve, receives “objective feedback” and disagrees, how do we resolve that? Was the feedback not objective? Is there a way to prove them incorrect? Are you suggesting this hypothetical is impossible?

@biggestjoel @STANN_co If we take your premise of "no objective evaluations of art can be made" how does this help us? Is this a difference in philosophy or does this have real world effects? If it does have real world effects why does anyone seek to "improve" their art if "improvement" is subjective?

@Fleks27 Been casually playing Dragonflight, mostly Delves & M+. Delves are pretty good, they were a lot more fun when I was slightly under-geared trying high tiers, but more bland at appropriate gear. Rewards feel a little stringent, and would like to see more variety & challenge

@FreyaHolmer Occans Razor: draw the line from Nixon -> Trump Fox News, the most watched news channel in the US, was founded in 1996 with Nixon aide Roger Ailes as its CEO. Forming a media environment that sheltered conservatives from what took down Nixon in 1970 was the explicit goal.

how on earth did the political right frog boil the media into treating them with as much respect as the left? like idk it's very strange that they somehow escape fact checking in the name of fairness, and escape accountability for their rhetoric in the name of "civil debate"
