Good to be at the @APPMPG tonight. The focus of the session was on planning reform for port development and road, rail and digital infrastructure connectivity. Interesting discussion around the crucial role the planning system plays in unlocking economic growth in UK ports.

Take 2 🚌 We are trialling the mobile seafarer centre bus today in @ABPSouthampton with a Christmas twist. Father Christmas will be giving presents out to #seafarers who are responsible for delivering thousands of gifts and many of whom will be working over the festive period.

I mean, you'd have to manage me, but apart from that it's a great organisation to be a part of!

Today is a day for reflection and remembrance so I pay tribute to my grandfather, William Ross, who was a trawlerman conscripted into the Royal Navy, and my uncle, Norman Rivers, a Lancaster Bomber rear gunner both gave their lives in WWII. #LestWeForget
