We've signed a significant £1 billion contract for 72 Remote Controlled Howitzer artillery systems (RCH 155). The RCH 155 is the future of @britisharmy artillery capability and it's being built by workers in Telford and Stockport, using British steel from Sheffield.

More than 1400 British Army troops recently boarded a civilian passenger ferry, travelling to a major military exercise in Germany. After arriving in the Netherlands they continued their journey to Exercise Rhino Storm, helping the Army practise using civilian transport if a large deployment to Europe is needed during a conflict. Today we bid farewell to the Deputy Chief of the General Staff 🫡 Lieutenant General Sir David Eastman KBE formally hands over the role tomorrow, and today was sounded out by State Trumpeters from the Household Cavalry Regiment. From there, he departed Army Headquarters in the Late Queen Mother's Land Rover.
