WHY ALL THE ARSENAL HATE?
Weโd all had enough of the time-wasting
Enough of the diving
Enough of Arteta
Constantly whining.
Enough of the screaming
When touched from behind
(But when Arsenalโs defenders did it
Arteta suddenly when blind.)
We should all be impressed
With what theyโve done
19 other clubโs supporters
Now united as one
A lesson for Arsenal
If this is the path that you choose
Weโll all continue to celebrate
If you continue to lose. ๐คท๐ปโฝ๏ธ

Emmanuel Petit on Arsenal's defeat in the final:
๐ฃ๏ธ โI'm sorry, but Arsenal were not beaten by PSG. They were beaten by inconsistency.
Kvaratskhelia gets a penalty for contact, but Madueke gets clipped in extra time and somehow it's play on. Make it make sense.
Football cannot have two different rulebooks in the same final.
All Arsenal fans wanted was the same standard at both ends of the pitch.
I've seen softer penalties given all season long.
The painful part is that we'll never know what happens if that decision goes Arsenal's way.
And that's what makes this so frustrating. Arsenal were denied the chance to decide the final on equal terms.
PSG may have lifted the trophy, but the biggest talking point of the night wasn't football it was the officiating.โ

Dennis Bergkamp on the hatred towards Arsenal:
๐ฃ๏ธ โI'll be honest, I've never understood the obsession people have with Arsenal.
Arsenal lose a final and suddenly it becomes a national celebration for rival fans. You would think Arsenal were the first club in football history to lose on a big stage.
What shocked me the most was seeing people from the Premier League cheering for the opposition.
Arsenal were representing English football in a European final, yet some people seemed happier seeing Arsenal fail than seeing an English club succeed.
That tells you everything.
Football is supposed to be rivalry, but with Arsenal it feels different. It feels personal.
Every mistake Arsenal make becomes headline news. Every defeat becomes a week-long celebration. Meanwhile other clubs lose finals, finish outside the top places, spend fortunes and nobody says a word.
Why? Because Arsenal still bother people.
Ever since the Invincibles, there has been a bitterness that never really disappeared.
Twenty years later people are still talking about that team because nobody has been able to repeat it.
They can laugh at Arsenal losing a final, they can post trophies on social media, they can celebrate for a week if they want.
But deep down, what really annoys them is that the Invincibles are still standing there in football history, untouched.
And every year that passes without anyone matching it makes them even more uncomfortable.โ

๐จ๐๏ธ Emmanuel Petit on Premier League clubs reaction to Arsenal loss to PSG in the Champions League Final
โI watched last night with absolute disbelief as so many Premier League clubs were so quick to jump on social media posting pictures of their European trophies the moment Arsenal lost the Champions League final.
Thatโs disgraceful, itโs completely shameless. Where is the love? Where is the support? What happened to the togetherness in English football?
We were out there representing the Premier League on the biggest stage in club football โ something most of them couldnโt even dream of achieving, let alone getting close to. Instead of backing one of their own, they choose jealousy and cheap shots. Itโs the same old story with Arsenal โ too many people want us to fail, and this just proves it.
The spirit of the Invincibles and the Double-winning teams will never die, but this kind of behaviour from so-called rivals is embarrassing for the league.โ

@MustyM98057 @markklfc You never won s*** this is why you are insulting. Nottingham Forest better than your S*** team. They play clean, win clean and they have TWO EUROPEAN CHAMPIONS LEAGUE TITLE. Arsenal is a s*** club ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ

๐จ๐๏ธ | Wayne Rooney on the controversial decisions in the UEFA Champions League Final:
๐ฃ๏ธ โPeople will celebrate PSG winning the Champions League, and fair enough, but deep down everybody knows Arsenal were on the wrong side of some shocking decisions.
That Madueke incident? If that happened to PSG, the referee points to the spot in two seconds.
You cannot convince me otherwise.
VAR was introduced to stop robberies in football, yet somehow Arsenal still got robbed on the biggest stage in club football.
And the worst part? By next week people will forget the decisions and only remember who lifted the trophy.
Thatโs football unfortunately.
Iโve seen finals decided by moments, but this one felt decided by fear from the officials. Nobody wanted to make the big call for Arsenal.
If Arsenal had gotten that penalty, the pressure changes completely. PSG panic. The momentum shifts. The entire story of the final couldโve changed.
But once again, Arsenal were expected to just accept it and move on quietly.โ
