SERIOUS FUCKING QUESTION. How in the absolute fuck does an ENTIRE race of people let trains become their natural apex predator? I mean, they are LITERALLY on fixed tracks and... ...THEY CAN'T FUCKING CHASE YOU!! (Yet, they are fucking successful hunters!!)

@righttimebomani Should probably pay more attention to our Wolves squad. True fans of the game know who the fuck the squad is. They’re a bunch of dawgs, that’s who they are!

The moment Victor Wembanyama arrived, every conversation around young big men changed. Especially for Chet Holmgren. Suddenly it wasn’t: “Chet is special.” It became: “Yeah, but is he as good as Wemby?” And honestly, that comparison made people forget how ridiculous Chet already is on his own. Because while everyone keeps debating ceilings and hype, Chet is quietly building one of the best young résumés in basketball: 🔹 NBA Champion 🔹 NBA All-Star 🔹 64-win Thunder team 🔹 Elite rim protector 🔹 One of the best young two-way bigs in the NBA Then Game 1 against the Lakers: 🔹 24 PTS 🔹 12 REB 🔹 3 BLK 🔹 52.9% FG And this entire playoff run has been elite too: 🔹 17.3 PPG 🔹 8.5 RPG 🔹 2.0 BPG While everyone keeps comparing him to an alien… people forgot Oklahoma City has one too. Most players would look “normal” next to Wemby. Chet Holmgren doesn’t.

@NolanAnalyst He was always a talented actor. Sure, his sex transition was polarizing for some, but he didn’t let that stop him from doing his thing and still giving great performances. Love him ❤️ I wonder if he’s playing Polites or one of the other soldiers… 🤔

When asked about Victor Wembanyama's 12 blocks in Game 1, Chris Finch said that at least 4 of the 12 were goaltends, and that it was "alarming" that Wembanyama wasn't called for a single goaltend. "When we looked at em, at least four of them were goaltending... To me, it's a little alarming that none of them were called. Here's a generational shot blocker, who is 7'6", who goes after everything, and there's no heightened awareness that these blocks could be goaltends... So let's just say there were four, that's eight points. You know the value of eight points in an NBA game? It's massive. That's also 33% of his blocks were goaltending uncalled. If I were to give you a 33% raise, you'd like that, right?"

Christian Braun takes full accountability for the Nuggets’ first-round exit “I just think I’m the leader of this team. I’m the vocal leader of this team. And when we don’t play well as a whole, you can blame whatever you want … You can blame anything. But I didn’t play well enough as an individual, and I didn’t have this team ready enough to play in a tough series. So we’ll be better. I’ll be better. I’m looking forward to next year, when we can respond.” (Via @BennettDurando )

@COSportsNut As a diehard Wolves fan, it doesn’t change my mind on Jokic. Dude is still the best big in the NBA, hands down.

This is my take. Why can’t we just realize and admit the Wolves are a damn good team? We almost discount their success by tearing down Jokic. The Nuggets getting beat by the better team shouldn’t do anything to our GOATs legacy It also shouldn’t be the reason we get rid of AG.
SportShorts@den_shorts

So if the Spurs lose to the Wolves are we going to change our mind a bit about the Nuggets and all of the idiotic Jokic takes? Like maybe they are just good man.

Takeaways from the Spurs Game 1 loss vs. Minnesota: - Victor Wembanyama and De’Aaron Fox will simply not shoot that bad again, it simply won’t happen - I like Dylan Harper’s play, but he should never be the best offensive player - Mitch Johnson should’ve called a timeout and given his guys a chance to slow down - But the look for Julian Champagnie was a 10/10, nine times out of ten he hits that shot - Also why are we using challenges in the first quarter? Genuinely why???? - Devin Vassell has been amazing this postseason, truly amazing - I know Stephon Castle fouled out, but he had a good game, however he has to be more careful - Keldon Johnson was unplayable in the first half, and was the vocal point of Minnesota’s offense late, they just attacked him - This game showed how much the Spurs need Carter Bryant’s defensive energy, he has to guard Randle - Why did Luke Kornet play just eight minutes? The Wolves have so much size??? - The half-court offense has to change, the lack of movement at times is abysmal and Mitch has to get Wemby better looks - Speaking of, Wemby’s shot diet was awful, no down-low looks, no post ups, and he only shot four free throws because of it - The Spurs won the rebounding and points in the paint battle, and somehow lost - Fox has got to be better of taking care of the basketball, six turnovers is simply unacceptable - The players were bad, coaching was bad, and they lost at the buzzer 0-1. The Spurs are still winning this series. #PorVida
