I actively run Windows, MacOS, and Linux.
There's been a tangible feel that MacOS has gotten serious in the pricing game recently. I'm now seeing M5 Pro deals as better than much worse Windows machines.
It's making it *much* harder to justify staying with a Surface when literally every variable is better (including price) with the MacBook Pro's. Feels like $AAPL is putting significant pressure on $MSFT and Microsoft doesn't even recognize it yet.

@CoachGilly6 Literally happened as soon as he realized he was the last touch and wasn't getting to it. Could see it in his eyes.

But taxing wealth so normal people can afford to see a doctor and not go bankrupt over inhalers is radical left. OK

SpaceX's 11% share price boost has made Elon Musk the world's first trillionaire, controlling two of the world's largest companies. ft.trib.al/wHPQ9gw

@RoKhanna So would cutting spending on all the trash programs and employees in the US government.

Brad, a 5% tax on Elon's trillion net worth would literally pay for free college and trade school for every American.
And with the market's growth, he still would be worth over a trillion dollars!
You don't think that's worth it?

You are smarter than this Ro. Imagine if Bernie had taxed @elonmusk 100% on his PayPal capital gains. We would have no @Tesla or @SpaceX - none of those jobs or GDP. Who do you think allocated the capital better for society? He will already pay $100 B + in taxes - more than any human ever. I hope he donates some to kids via @TrumpAccounts to make every kid a shareholder in 🇺🇸 & continues investing all his heart, soul & money for the benefit of America & all humanity! 🇺🇸🚀🤍

@Manhattva Hahaha just making fun of Bill Gates 😂 love your account and Elon.

@FrankBr05713205 I'd bet it's in line with franchises not having a standardized system to track and report individual items and corporate has limited visibility. They do in app promotional to try to get around this and push usage in the app.

Love Popeyes chicken but I am am having a hard time understanding some practices they and other restaurants do today. I recently looked on line and seen they had a 9 piece family meal for $20.00 which included a side and four biscuits, which is a pretty good deal today. When I got to the drive up window menu board all that was offered close to that was an 8 piece meal for $28.99. I asked the worker and was informed that the $20.00 9 piece meal had to be ordered on the mobile app. So I had to pull out of line and order the 9 piece meal on my phone and then get back in line to get my order. My question is why is it necessary to order on the mobile app to get this deal and others like it. Same restaurant, same chicken, just makes no sense to me. Why do restaurants do this?

@nishikoripicks @TheBorisBecker Sinner is half way through to Sampras in terms of # played but would have to double his win rate to catch up to him...

Update: @TheBorisBecker himself asked for the past champions. Fair.

COACHES: Years ago I asked one of my smartest hockey development buddies who I should do a player study on. His suggestion:
Mark Stone.
I was like, "Really?"
He said - "Dude, trust me."
I was blown away. His hockey sense legit blew me away. His game doesn't "look" pretty, but he's one of the smartest players in the NHL.
Here are a couple examples from last night. Incredible anticipation and a reading of the game.
First defensively reading where the play is going to create the turnover and breakaway.
Then reading the defensive structure and finding the passing lane for the breakaway and goal.
If you're interested, zone in on Mark Stone next game. I promise you won't be disappointed.

@nadalprop_ And some people think the 26 2nd round FO Sinner loss was the bigger upset...

I'm 38.
At this point of my life/career, I have so many friends working corporate W2 jobs making $200-400K/year (mostly in NYC/NJ/PA corridor) who just don't actually work that much.
One friend makes $250K as a manager at a biotech... all he does is send pictures of his chicken coop or other DIY projects all day during the week.. no idea what value he actually provides his company.
Then there's my "jiggler" friend who you might recall... guy makes $250-300K and just plugs a "mouse jiggler" into his laptop and just goes to the gym, homeschools his kids, tans, does yard work... all day. I ask him what he does and he can't even articulate it...
Another friend makes $150K at a remote startup and just travels around the world all the time... don't ask don't tell situation on where people are at any given time... but does seemingly little actual work.. maybe 1 hour a day.
This is truly what's going on out there... BS W2 jobs all over the place. And AI is a bubble?
Really?

BREAKING: Sen. Elizabeth Warren is urging the SEC to delay SpaceX’s IPO, set for Nasdaq debut this Friday.
In a letter to she cited the company’s massive $1.77 trillion valuation, lack of profitability, and recent index rule changes as reasons for closer scrutiny to protect investors.
“These are not normal circumstances,” Warren wrote.
