If Paramount can shell out billions of dollars to acquire Warner Bros. Discovery, then they can pay their unionized CBS staff a fair wage. I stand with the CBS staff who walked out today as they fight these corporate giants for essential protections and fair contracts.

BREAKING: Workers at CBS are walking out. The unionized team that works CBS' streaming service are going on a 24 hour strike in New York and San Francisco. The walkout comes after negotiations with CBS News editor-in-chief Bari Weiss reportedly imploded.

Grateful to have @aoc and @PatRyanUC join volunteers this weekend for a Ground Truth canvass. At a moment when politics can feel polarized and performative, both volunteers and elected officials alike are reminding us what true leadership looks like: showing up with curiosity, listening deeply, and engaging voters with openness.

A lot of people talk about reconnecting with voters. This is what it actually looks like: 100+ Swing Left volunteers, @aoc, and @PatRyanUC joined a Ground Truth canvass yesterday—knocking every door and listening to what people are actually experiencing in their lives. This is where rebuilding trust starts.

Yesterday @PatRyanUC and I shared a beautiful day across New York. We started with produce workers in the Bronx bringing in apples from Ulster County. Then we went to Kingston and held a town hall in Glens Falls. Because when working people come together, anything is possible.

Elise Stefanik hasn’t held an in-person town hall in 6 years. So my friend @AOC and I decided to hop in the car to Glens Falls and hold one ourselves. Showing up everywhere. Listening to everyone. Fighting for our future. That’s what democracy looks like.

Ryan: One of the main reasons that I wanted to run for office is that I did not want another generation of young and proud Americans getting sent to another regime change war. Working-class Americans from all across this country trusted that they would only be sent into harm’s way for the right reasons, and instead we have a five-time draft dodger who talks tough and thinks this is a video game and has no clue what those kids are going through.

AOC: They wanted to issue this statement as though we’re just going after these 30-year-old men on Medicaid playing video games in their basement, right? This was the narrative that we heard. First of all, I think everyone should have healthcare in America, regardless of who you are and what you’re doing. And the idea that there is anyone who is less deserving because of who they are is the problem to begin with. But that’s what they use to justify this, right? Because they want us to do the work for them. They want us to sort ourselves into the idea of deserving and undeserving, or pointing at our neighbors in terms of deserving and undeserving. And that smokescreen — that idea — is how they tried to pass a trillion dollars in healthcare cuts across the board for all of us.

AOC: The Pentagon has not passed an audit, and they are out here trying to kick people with disabilities off of Medicaid. It is corruption that is stealing from the public coffers — and that is the actual waste, fraud, and abuse.

AOC voted down my resolution to release congressional sexual harassment records. I don't want to hear one more word from her about Epstein. She voted against the truth. She voted against survivors. She is a fraud.

Every Member of Congress who tells you they voted down my resolution to release the sexual harassment files of Members of Congress to “protect” victims is lying to you. As a survivor my resolution ensured the protection of all survivors by redacting the names of all victims and all witnesses. I will not let liars rewrite the truth of other survivors.
