I find this interesting because i recently had to request my DD214 from vetrecs and while I was at it entered my fathers info and was informed i needed to submit more info we just do not have like his serial no. Social security no. Etc. And i suspect even if we could give more info much of his service would be ashes symbolized by blank or blacked out fields. He served in the 101st was at at Bastogne the eagles nest etc but any info is spread across reports and forms in archives containing after action reports, and many mundane pieces of paperwork he might have created as between battles he was drafted to help type up reports once his superiors found out he was an expert typist. Now that I'm retired I've considered trying to gain access to military archives to see what exists that has not been digitized. This is history that should be preserved and backed up.

Somewhere in this ash is a soldier's name. His DD-214. His discharge papers. Proof he served. The 1973 NPRC fire didn't just destroy records. It erased the service of 17 million veterans — many of whom spent the rest of their lives unable to prove they were ever there.

There is some level of fraud in all Federal Programs. The fact the Federal Government is only looking for Federal fraud in California shows you how terrified MAGA is of Gavin Newsom.

I lived through Yeltsin, and Trump's behavior mirrors him so precisely it's disturbing. The same clownish performance. The same promises. The same destruction of a country while the leader talks nonsense and dances. Dear Americans, good luck.

I can't get over this. TSA agents have been working without pay since 2/14 and Trump had the emergency funds to cover them all along. He was willing to let their families go without food and possibly housing so he could blame Senate Dems for political points. Soulless.

The stunning revelation that Trump held classified documents, including one well beyond Top Secret, for personal financial gain, underscores even more how vile and disgraceful is Judge Aileen Cannon. In any normal time, she would be impeached and removed from office.

MacFarlane: There is a new inquiry into the Trump Mar-a-Lago classified records matter… According to this new inquiry, some of the recently revealed documents that were shared with the committee potentially indicate that Trump showed a classified record on a flight from Florida to Bedminster in June 2022. They also suggest that there was potentially a classified map in that record and that records were either seen or shared by Trump outside the presidency that were so highly classified that only six people in the American government had access to them.
