Another day, another journalist who doesn’t understand how Green Party makes policy 🤦‍♂️ “The Green Party” doesn’t draft proposals, it’s individual members, or groups of likeminded members, that do that 🤝 Then, any proposal will need a lot of support from other members to finally be debated and its only ever the most serious ones that get voted on 🗳️ I predict that you’ll hear a lot about supposed Green proposals over the next few years from journalists looking for stories but many will unlikely ever come close to becoming policy ☑️

Thirty people knowing first-aid is a blessing. Thirty people knowing their local geography and infrastructure. Etc

I have not kept tabs on what the stock market has been doing but I very much agree this should be the plan in such circumstances.

@forces_at_work @tactipus_ See I read OP as basically blaming middle-class insularity ("survivalism") and seeing this as the intervention site. Which feels misdirected and somewhat self defeating. Obviously panic buying bad, but it's often media created, and VERY hard to challenge through persuasion.
