Crypto for me has been extreme highs and lows At one point I was making $8500 a month between different marketing gigs. (Not paid posts but actual partnerships) I had the intelligence to withdraw enough to pay taxes but unfortunately invested the rest back into the market. Now my portfolio is nearing an all time low for the past 5 years and I’m unsure of what to do. Anyone else in the same boat?

In my teens and 20's I would spend way too much time playing Starcraft and Civilization. Harvesting resources, building things, and expanding was super addictive to my brain - to an almost unhealthy degree. Later I realized that entrepreneurship and business is the ultimate game. It scratches the same itch for me (resources, building, expanding), but you're actually contributing to humanity at the end of the day, which can be much more fulfilling. Business is also much more positive sum than video games. In Starcraft, the other player has to lose for you to win. In business, there is competition, but in a growing market there can be multiple winners. And gains compound long term (it's a infinite game) instead of starting over each time. Now days I prefer to watch pros play video games to unwind, instead of playing video games myself. But a quick game can still be fun here and there to unwind. By contrast, the game of business is played over many decades.

Panic Sells.. You're secret strategy solution. So no matter how good your strategy is, it will lose. And when it loses you have two options. Take it raw all the way to the end. Or get out of it. You ALWAYS want to get out of it. This is much bigger than you think. Most bots truly only have a few cent edge over time, enough to print, but not a lottery ticket. Panic Selling and recovering even 30, 10 or 5c per share, is huge and can make a non profitable bot make money, or just make your current bot, make more. So how do you do it. I prefer a time and signal filter. They vary depending on the market and strategy. But on every strategy I have (besides low latency snipers etc) there is some setting where I lose almost no winners, and just dump complete losers. On 15m markets my first check is usually at 5m. At 5m if its under my entry price, I usually bail. Also if it ever gets under X of my entry, I bail too. This number varies. You just have to test your strategy. My most profitable crypto bot, has this strategy. Over the last 3 months it has saved me almost 80k. Stack this with any strategy you can. Free money.

Securing Your Account. My recent hack caught me blindsided. I'm very secure, but apparently not secure enough. Make sure you never share your actual polymarket account publicly. I can trace your account on the blockchain to your crypto wallet. Even the coinbase account you use. Keep it private. 2FA with an authenticator on EVERYTHING. No phone 2fa (my mistake) Unique passwords for everything crypto/banking related. Make them unique, make them extremely difficult. Unique emails for your crypto assets or X if you discuss crypto. No identifying information. Not your city/state/country if you can help it. Nothing. Stay anonymous. Your Polymarket account. If its making money, switch wallets as a precaution. I switch mine weekly. Stay off any leaderboards or anywhere that can grab attention. Verify every transaction before you send it, the copy/paste exploit is still alive and real. They inject the scammers wallet into your paste. Verify its the actual wallet. Always send a 1 dollar test before any real amounts of crypto. Stay safe out there degens
