I’m trying to follow the great farming debate but, as an economics illiterate, I’m baffled. If a farm has a nominal value of, say, £3m but generates an income of only c. £40k, how can it really be worth that much? This is not, bt dubs, a loaded question. I’m interested.

Fair play to Sancho. He played very well today. But, using him to attack #MUFC and ten Hag is very odd. His quality was never in question. He's always been a brilliant technical player, proper street footballer, however just didn't show up enough. Also acting like United forced him to go through a tough time, and that ten Hag write him off, or made his United tenure unsuccessful is wide of the mark too. He didn't perform under Ole, didn't perform under Rangnick, and then started very well under ten Hag. Things started to unravel, so he took a step back from football and ten Hag sanctioned this, arranging different coaches for him to work with in his time away. Something that very few managers would have done. Ten Hag was very patient with him, brought him for the Leeds game, and it was evident that ten Hag had a soft spot for him. He had the odd moment here and there, but was inconsistent for the remainder of the season. We used him as a false 9 in Pre Season, and we seemed to get some joy from that. He barely had a sniff at the start of the season, and that prompted the situation that ultimately lead to his prolonged sideline. Could it have been handled better? Possibly. Was it all ten Hag and United's fault? Absolutely not. There is a crazy amount of revisionism. If he apologised, it would have been sorted. Ten Hag has had fallings out with other players, they've apologised and we've moved on. The commentators today were speaking about all that he's been through, and the treatment he got. But failed to mention he was at fault for most of it. Some players just don't suit a certain club, and are a perfect fit elsewhere. That is fine, but using Sancho as a tool to bash other people with will only create more division, which is exactly what the commentators and media want.

Hmmm it's really strange that the only 'desperate' ones are fit young men though isn't it? They're somehow the only ones being persecuted and the families they leave behind are absolutely fine..?
