@DrewPavlou @conserv1951 @PeteZogoulas As a blind Australian, this one really annoys me. The NDIS is nothing but a scam, and no, I’m not on it. Is there a GiveSendGo for the kid? Anyone know? Keep up the good work lads.

130k may be OK if those who came in previously leave after finishing their degrees instead of using their study in Australia to get permanent residency and then using that as an anchor point to import their entire family, rather than going home and building their own country. That was the reason for foreign students: they come here, get training, then go home and build a life, improving their nation. But at some point it stopped working like that. It’s bad for our nation and terrible for theirs.

@jondelarroz I hate to say it, but never bet against someone being stupid. Renewing Alex Kurtzman would make someone at Paramount the king of stupid.

Every three months I go through this ritual where @Microsoft issues a mandatory update which breaks my graphics drive. Then it takes 1-2 business days of my life to uninstall, reinstall, threaten, and otherwise abuse my computer trying to fix a fault Microsoft causes but refuses to acknowledge. I swear this company is getting worse, not better. The least they could do is provide an easy patch in an 'OH SHIT WE SCREWED UP' link.

Yes but you're slumming it on a PS5. Why voluntarily degrade yourself like that, mate? PC exists precisely so peasants can ascend to the actual best experience higher frames, real mods, no paywall nonsense and AMD cards crush it without breaking the bank. Stay in console jail if you want, but don't pretend it's not self inflicted suffering.

@nikitabier As a smaller account, I would just like to have some interaction on the posts I put out. It's very hard in a niche micro topic like mmo gaming to get some views.

@AlboMP But you're not. You have eroded national security by which I mean you have undermined food and fuel security. While this war was probable for a number of years, you got caught out on fuel, which was avoidable if we had domestic production. Fire Mr Bowen and do it today PM.

We’re building a stronger, more resilient Australia - our way. By investing in our people, ideas and industry, we’re making sure the economy works for every Australian. In a globalised world, a fair deal for consumers depends on a level playing field for Aussie businesses. That means backing local businesses to compete and grow. That’s what I spoke about this morning at the AADA breakfast.

What this tells me is two things 1. None of these people were in the Boy Scouts. 2. They didn't learn the lesson of COVID to have a proper larder and supplies built up in case of an emergency (not prepper levels, of course). And while I haven't had to go down and fill up jerry cans, as I already had them, no, I guess in Chris Bowen's mind I must be the most unAustralian person in the country.

@QuentinDempster So you needed a war and Australia to rise to the third most expensive petrol in the world to make the case for an electric vehicle to be viable.

The penny drops: EVs are far cheaper to run per kilometre than petrol/diesel vehicles. 👇This, folks, is the game changer. We won’t have to rely on supply/price manipulative corrupt global cartels. + Public health benefit = no particulate pollution.
Chris Meder@EVCurveFuturist

Driving electric is up to 4× cheaper than petrol. 100 km costs: ⛽Petrol: $22–$33 ⚡EV (home, 6pm): $5.90 ☀️EV (midday solar): $1.20 Same distance. Massive difference. Plus no servicing or oil changes. Around $4k saved every year —a family holiday instead of fuel bills.⚡

The scuttlebutt for the past month has been that another interest rate rise was on the cards due to the high spending of the Albanese/Chalmers Labor government. You are the reason this has happened, as you are the highest spending government in our history. It also doesn’t help that budget papers from the Treasury expect 40 years of budget deficits. Yes, that is not a typo 40 years. #voteonenation

Today the independent Reserve Bank Monetary Policy Board increased the cash rate by 25 basis points. We already had an inflation challenge in our economy but the war in the Middle East is making this challenge worse. At a time of immense global instability, this will put even more pressure on families and businesses. Many Australians were already doing it tough and are now feeling the impact of conflict in the Middle East through higher petrol prices as well. That’s why we’re rolling out responsible cost of living relief and taking action to give consumers a fair go at the bowser, through higher penalties, more surveillance and more supply.

Maybe able to get "free" healthcare paid for by your own tax dollars and some borrowed money, but you can't get diesel in the bush because Bowen and the PM stuffed up royally. Oh, you're not noticing it in the city? That's because the political class decided to put up a charade and divert regional fuel to metropolitan areas where they the labor party win elections. But don't worry, you'll start to notice it in the cost of your groceries in the next few weeks that's if you can find food on the shelves.

@ellymelly @TuckerCarlson @RealCandaceO I think linking them together in the same poll question won’t give you an accurate snapshot. Tucker is okay on most things and we can have a discussion about his points, but Candace and what she has done over Charlie Kirk’s murder has proved she is nothing but a dishonest hack.

@LisaKhouryRA @RennickGBR @soaringkitty @SenatorAntic And there it is dodging a well thought out, reasoned response with a baseless attack, hoping I didn’t notice you didn’t provide an argument or point. Kind of disappointed after your opening salvo actually expected more TBH.

It was great to catch up with @SenatorAntic on the @TheKarlStefanovicShow today. Alex is the last conviction politician inside the Liberal Party. He’s also a top bloke and a good mate who always had my back, especially through the dark years of Covid. The full clip will be released on Sunday.

Not at all, it was dealt with at the time. Was it good? No, and this is why One Nation has started moving to branches where we, the membership, review, vote on and critique candidates. I don’t think he would have got through in the new environment. With that said, the difference with ON supporters is we will use knowledge and honesty to cut your legs out from under you. We won’t lie, unlike Labor, Teals and Greens supporters. That kind of politics is over. And giving an honest, accurate account of how Mr Rennick acted after losing his preselection is not being nasty; it’s giving context to why he keeps attacking Pauline and, on the whole, the larger One Nation base.

Australian retailer Umart refused to replace a faulty Corsair 32GB DDR5 kit bought in 2024 for about 155 AUD under warranty. They said a direct replacement would be an upgrade for the customer and offered only a refund of the original price. They also kept the faulty RAM, preventing a claim directly with Corsair. Corsair is now reviewing the case.
