You want stability? Peg the damn currency to gold. Not in the fairy tale sense where peasants queue with paper and get shiny coins. No. Issue a digital unit—on-chain, deterministic, BSV-based—that’s legally defined as equivalent to a fixed mass of audited gold, held in a vault, guarded like a dictator’s last breath. Don’t redeem it. Don’t promise redemption. Just peg it by statute. Lock it in law. Let the courts enforce the price. Publish the reserve audits, hash them to the ledger, and dare anyone to lie. That’s not faith. That’s monetary architecture. You want hard money? Link it to gold. You want it to work? Issue it on BSV.

@stijnhommes @liquidnoblegold The best part about WebAuthn is that the service provider doesn't actually receive your biometrics, you just sign with it privately (like a wet signature) producing a non-PII proof of device ownership. It can also be a PIN/pattern/other form of auth that never leaves your device.

@DDanylevych Ignoring the AUD fiat off-ramp available in the app (as you can't use it in the US yet), what's wrong with selling gold for liquid USDT/C? 🤔 I get the transfer to friends requirement, but what benefits are you expecting from HandCash? What off-ramps do they have?

@TokenizedDragon Integrate with handcash. Plus ability to withdraw to gold coins and bars. Not many people would use it, but ability to have such option is critical. I can convince my friends to use gold tokens, but there is absolutely no way to actually use it. No wallets, no conver to fiat :(

@DDanylevych As having more wallets to which the tokens can be transferred does not unlock any purchasing power on its own, what constitutes the "coffee purchasing ability", in your view? Off-ramps to a particular coin or fiat? POS terminals accepting gold directly from your wallet?

@TokenizedDragon I'm fine with just gold, but make it more usable. Right now i can only buy/hold/sell it. I can't even transfer it anywhere. I want to be able to buy coffee with it, so use it as stablecoin

@DDanylevych @cksoin Among other things, gold is a store of value: even without moving it to another wallet our customers benefit greatly from owning NobleGold with the ability to sell it back at any point. Wallet adoption will improve in the future, but transfers are surely not the only use case.

@TokenizedDragon @cksoin I did buy $10 worth of gold token. It only supports USDT trading pair (i prefer USDC). Plus i can't withdraw it to anywhere (no wallet supports it, and i can't register at your platform (im in US)). I know regulation is tough, but it causes no real use cases. It needs a solution

@cksoin We spoke with RockWallet about listing NobleGold, but at the moment they don't seem to have enough interest registered for precious metals. We're open to working with them though! Maybe RockWallet users can help by pinging RockWallet from time to time to express interest. 😁

@cksoin Regulations require bullion account holders to complete KYC/KYB for AML/CTF purposes, which is why gold tokens can only be traded by licensed KYC-enabled exchanges. We love HandCash, but we're legally not allowed to offer gold tokens to its unverified users, unfortunately.
