@TotalBalanceGuy @AlexVanopslagh #dkpol Helt enig det er ikke sket pr automatik. Men i Danmark er de rigeste blevet rigere på bekostning af den fattigste halvdel af befolkningen, fordi det danske skattesystem har tilgodeset de rige de seneste år. Og Alex`s politik vil forstærke den udvikling.

Formueskat er symbolpolitik, der taler til den indre svinehund Valget nærmer sig, og vi skal snart tage stilling til, om vi vil være et land, der dyrker misundelse, smålighed og stagnation - eller storsind, velstand og vækst. Nu går snakken igen på, om Socialdemokratiet vil indføre en formueskat. Men Socialdemokratiet ved godt selv, at en formueskat er en dårlig idé. Det var deres egen finansminister, Mogens Lykketoft, der i sin tid afskaffede formueskatten, fordi den skadede investeringerne og var umulig at administrere. De kunne også bare kigge mod Norge, som skærpede formueskatten for et par år siden. Det fik nogle af de mest formuende nordmænd til at flytte ud af landet. Norske medier har beregnet, at alene de 50 rigeste udflyttere ville betale mere end 4 mia. norske kroner om året i skat. Det er altså milliarder, der forsvinder fra samfundet, når man gør det attraktivt at pakke formuen (og ofte virksomheden) og smutte. Det er nemlig dyrt at føre politik på misundelse. Folketingsvalget bliver derfor også et valg om, hvorvidt vi vil være et land, der har råd til verdens bedste velfærd, fordi vi tør skabe vækst. Et land, hvor vi glæder os over dem, der skaber arbejdspladser og velstand. Eller vil vi være et land, der langsomt bliver fattigere, fordi vi har mere travlt med at bekæmpe rigdom end fattigdom? I LA vælger vi velstanden. For uden velstand er der ingen velfærd. Vi kan godt.

@PBukbjerg @AlexVanopslagh De fattigere bliver ikke automatisk fattigere, fordi de “rige” bliver rigere. Jeg er enig i, at ulighed skal bekæmpes, men man skal passe på med, at overmalke koen. På et tidspunkt får den nok og smutter. Det SKAL være attraktivt at tjene (mange) penge i DK.

@AlexVanopslagh #dkpol Problemet med din politik, er at den kun kommer de 10% rigeste til gavn. Mens deres velstand er steget voldsomt de seneste år har de 50% fattigste ikke slet ikke fået samme del i velstandsstigningen

I failed to understand the message of the movie. Blacks try to steal his car, he kills them for it (the curb stop was an overreaction but understandable nonetheless), goes to prison and loses his racism, all for his brother to be killed by a black who wanted revenge because he stood up to him bullying a white kid.

@Jurgen1278 @movie_tvshows_ I remember seeing it in 8th or 9th grade. We went to the movie theater with our entire class. We were the only ones there. Our class was normally loud and crude. Leaving the movie theater nobody said a word. Very powerful movie. One of the best of its time. Still great today.

Så mangler vi bare 1 investor på Capino for at ramme 1.000 af slagsen. Det seneste år er der virkelig kommet gang i investeringerne, det tegner godt for Danmark :-) Og så kommer der 1-2 spændende investeringer på platformen hver dag, det er spændende at følge med i. Ærgerligt at jeg pt. ikke har mere likviditet (og tid :-)

@HertzyTrades Depends, I opted to pay off my mortgage so I’m debt free. I have a net worth north of 750,000 but only about 130,000 in stocks. If I hadn’t paid off my home I’d have more like 350K invested. I’m 44 Depends what your philosophy is

It is quite interesting that we made 72% returns in 2024 and so far close to 65% in 2025, and yet I am being accused right, left and centre for being too optimistic and "wrong" about an uptick in markets and the economy Why this response? Makes it less likely that we have peaked

I was trying to schedule a call with one of my investors, and wasn’t hearing back. Just came to find out that his emails are all going to spam. This is unbelievably embarrassing! I wonder how often this happens to people. That spam filter can do a whole lot of damage.

I don’t have a lot of life advice other than it feels pretty nice to hang out with a bunch of dudes around a fire once weekly and talk about life, politics, investments, etc No booze or other “enhancements” necessary. Just a fire and good conversation

A 22-year old kid radicalized by far Left ideology took the life of a Father and an American hero over political differences. The far left calling their opponents names like Hitler, Nazis, and Fascists is what led to this. What a shame. They are responsible for his death

@GuyTalksFinance I used to commute about 30-45min each way to work. I realized how much time I wasted doing this. Now I have 15min to work and I’m never going 30min+ again! 👊🏼

A friend of mine recently purchased his first home. He’s mentioned to me a few times about how good of a deal he got buying a house for only $500k. Yeah it’s a great price, but the problem is he now has a 2-hour commute to work everyday. I don’t care how good of a “deal” he got. Driving 2-hours daily is not worth it for a house.

@Iuvnriki @Route2FI Indeed. But in order for someone to get to that realization, you need to stack those bags first 🤷🏼 Just like you won’t know how it’s like to be a parent, before you actually become one.

@Route2FI Sometimes stacking bags just leaves you staring at the ceiling thinking “now what.” Real win is when you use all that for something that actually sets your soul on fire.

If you chased money and now got it, only to feel empty afterward, it might not be your end goal (bomb, right). You probably want more purpose and impact in your life. Use your money to scale yourself. Set new goals. Make goals that go beyond money. Health, fitness, hobbies, family/friends, etc.

@realfrugalmogul I’d see a physio. But most likely some sort of inflammation or inpinchement. Stretching (the right way) might help, but you need a proper diagnose first. Sometimes a chiropractor can also help.

Most of you know over the last 1.5 years I’ve been trying to turn a corner with my health. Lost a bunch of weight and trying to gain strength through CrossFit. My latest bump in the road: sciatica! Horrible discomfort and pain. Especially seating and sleeping. Any advice?

@Route2FI I wonder why it has to be like that. I guess finding fulfillment is being happy in the moment, without having to have that “next big goal” around the corner. I’d certainly like to find that happiness in being at piece with NOT having anything particular to strive for..

For many years, my goal was to save up as much money as possible, quit my engineering job, and work on my own projects. Everything I did was to reach that goal as fast as possible. I was motivated. I jumped out of bed, ready to chase the goal. But more importantly, I had a mission. I had a vision. And I was going to reach it. Time went along. The excitement subsided. I resigned from my job. Now I had money. And I was in limbo, numb, and miserable. "I have everything I want; why am I unhappy?". It's obvious in retrospect that I lost my mission. I had set out to do everything I could to make it. After achieving my initial goal and obtaining what I wanted, I was left with nothing. Well, what I didn’t know back then was that you always need something that pushes you further. Retiring only to do nothing is not the answer. You need something that is always in the back of your mind. When I was working my 9-5, stressed, and grinding my way up the ladder, and felt so far from my goal, well I didn’t realize it at the time, but I was actually happy and fulfilled. I had something I felt I needed to make happen. I had a purpose. Long story short: eventually, I found myself a new goal, and it made me feel alive again. And I know that, when I am done with this, there will be another period of void. There will be boring days. But this time I know that this part makes me creative. And I will figure out the next steps along. There will be a new goal. I just don’t know what it is yet, but I will find it. And when I’m done with that one, I’ll get another. There is no finish line. There is no retirement. And I am about to be at peace with it.
