Armed Robbery Suspects Arrested in Alberton: Two suspects have been arrested following a series of street robberies in the General Alberts Park and Mayberry Park areas earlier today. Private security teams, CPS Security and React 24, tracked down the suspected getaway vehicle and located the suspects at a premises. A firearm and narcotics (Mandrax) were recovered during the operation. South African Police Service officers from Alberton SAPS arrested both suspects. Stolen items, including cellphones, were also recovered from a local pawn shop. Police have confirmed that one victim has opened a case and are urging other victims to come forward.
